Im not holding my breath. I have a bit more hope that Chiu can be a taller Isaac Go just because of the organisation/team he is in

Neither one of them really wants to play 4 in international games,we've seen Tamayo play 3 with Batang Gilas, and he improved and seems comfortable playing the position in small dosed,Kobe in Asian level is very comfortable in the 3 position.

Aljon Mariano's another guy our local 6'6"-6'8" bigs could emulate. Dependable midrange shot, OK-ish handling, hard worker, mobile enough to defend the perimeter, strong enough to defend the post.
Hope some bigs can be taught his skillset, plus a good 3-ball.

Tamayo - atleast a Taller Version of RDO.
Chiu - I dont think he can crack the lineup unless he dominates in Uaap.
Cortez -Yes. Injury prone.
So in the 3 of them. I only see Tamayo as having a chance.
But Tamayo need to be atleast in RDO level. Nothing less than that
Unless Tamayo slims down and be sent for intense Skills training like in TSF, I dont see him as a SF prospect and even PF for Gilas.... He is a twinner actually slow to play both Forward position internationally...Had he committed to Ateneo under Tab, baka pwede pa, but under Bo good luck to him... We have seen the transformation of Javi naman under Tab...

I am willing to replace him by Tamayo. And bet on Tamayo.
Ganun din naman. Troy is a sure bust in innternational. Why not try Carl. We never know.

The thing with Troy is that he wasn't trained to be like RDO. RDO had a post game, and can drive and defend. Troy, on the other hand, is far more limited. Just 3s, cuts, and putbacks. And despite his athleticism, he can't defend.
Hope Tamayo can be more like RDO than Troy in the international setting.

As for Arvin, he's not exactly the post player RDO was. He plays more like a wing, and honestly hope he can develop like one.
Tamayo naman, well, ayun. Let's hope he works hard enough to be another RDO, or maybe better than that.

He could also be useful like kelly williams. But williams is also a poor outside shooter, suited more for dunkathons.
