Now I know who you're referring to. Yeah, lets not expect too much

But chances are looking good, right?

Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. For now let's not count on anything
      Is this Ethan Kirkness hahahh...

Our need for bigs is all but settled also at wings with emergence of Dwighyt, Thirdy, maybe Suerte and Bulanadi...Its in the PG that we still lack..Juan GDL is actually more of combo, medyo error prone pa while Matt while a good assist guy, his outside shots has deserted him so far...Hope Panopio pans out...We need more size also at PG, in the pipeline for us is the great Gorthsky Padrigao, good luck to Gilas..

I don't think its Mason Amos bro. Its someone BIGGER, both literally & figuratively. Besides, naibalita na yan ni analyzed dito a few months ago that Mason got Pinoy paasport before his 16th b-day

That's a limited time to be working with if we're talking about La Salle. And agreed on the PBA point. Unless Baltazar's drafted by say, SMB or Ginebra, he'll be limited to the 5-spot due to being one of the few 6'7" and above bigs.

However, even if he won't face quality opposition in the post, he'll be challenged to guard the perimeter more, especially against teams like Ateneo, UST, and UP (all of whom have perimeter-oriented 4's, whether wings or bigs), which frankly I consider the more important aspect.

              • So there. Cariño, Baltazar, and Go were just abused by Chanathip Jakrawan inside. Hope our young bigs (Tamayo, Quiambao, Cortez, Chiu) are exposed to senior competition early.

I will Take away quiambao of bigs discussion. Looks like he will be trained as SF in Lasalle.

So, Tamayo Cortez and Chiu. I really expect a lot from Tamayo.

I could say he matched or outplayed Kai in their Uaap Finals Battle

Kai was outplayed by a 6'7 FilAm that was US Div.2 bound.

whats your minimum expectations from these 3? Cortez is injury prone and we dont know how he is after all those injuries. i actually have not seen much improvement from him since batang gilas days but i guess thats because of his injuries.
Tamayo and Chiu are typical post players who can step out for occasional 3s. Tamayo can do short drives if he has space.
what are you, or we i guess, expecting from them this coming year?

Hopefully Catapusan can be trained to play like a wing. He seems mobile. Same with Lina (although malabo).

My minimum expectation for them to crack 2023 Final 12?

Tamayo - atleast a Taller Version of RDO.

Chiu - I dont think he can crack the lineup unless he dominates in Uaap.

                            Cortez -Yes. Injury prone.

So in the 3 of them. I only see Tamayo as having a chance.

But Tamayo need to be atleast in RDO level. Nothing less than that

Tamayo has the potential to be a 6'7" RDO. Hopefully, he gets healthy, and that UP plays him as a 4 in a mainly 4-out offense so that he can have the opportunity to showcase his perimeter skills (shooting, driving).

I dont want to be nega to Coach Bo but i cant help it. So if Tamayo's improvement is the one we want to lean on.... under Coach Bo, has UP bigs really developed? Im not holding my breath. I have a bit more hope that Chiu can be a taller Isaac Go just because of the organisation/team he is in
