If this is true they should think about the best option for their kid. He’s 6’8 and he’s long. He’s very skilled, the only problem is he’s underdeveloped physically and athletically. If he goes to EWP I can see him going D1 but he needs to be developed properly right now while he’s young enough. Upis had a terrible record last year winning 1 game I think even with Demisana they weren’t going to be a contender

Up really needs demisana. He will be at least 6'9 in college and can really win a uaap title with diouf, kirkness and couple of de lianos.

But right now we need paragons that future nt centers and forwards can look up to. Up will understand. Besides after two years tsf training, and he didnt get to the nba, up will have a grateful monster forward for at least 3 years.

Good idea, that tall combo forward is a niche position for us. He will have very little competition if ever.

Pascal had to go thru g league and became and MVP there. we wont complain if Kai had to go through that process. I think the Spurs is also a good fit for Kai since LMA and Rudy Gay are aging already and parang di nag iimprove si poetl.

they just drafted luka samanic last year. and they put him in g league. Interesting if samanic and kai can work together.

it also depends on this years 2020 draft if spurs will get another center or big men.

as far as i know. The teams who have eyes on kai are raptors,pacers, boston, and miami(not sure in this one).

But actually if i will choose a team that Kai will play for. I will choose the Memphis grizzlies. They are in a rebuilding mode thru draft. they got JJJ and Morant last two drafts. They just needed a mobile center in kai Sotto.(Kai is the missing piece in their roster)

i think kai can battle Jonas Valanchunas in memphis starting 5. Memphis is a rising team with giving younger players a chance.

I doubt he will reach his projected height of 6-7 to 6-8. If he's 6-5 with shoes & 17 years of age right now, then he must be barely 6-4 w/o shoes. I would be satisfied if he ends up as a legit 6-foot-6. Hope he can be a 6-foot-6 Mark Pingris with some decent 18-foot jump shot.
