From that context absolutely I can see where Mark is coming from (Clarkson, Hepa, Dwight, David, Remy etc etc). Yun yung may sense..

    • I'm sorry to deferentiate between Fil foreigner and home grown, unfortunately the reality is length and athelcisim is the starting point of talent to be developed. And reality is we don't have that raw inate material in home grown they're however found abroad in Fi foreigners. It is what it is.

And since this is basketball, we need to utilise them!

        • I totally get where Mark's statements are coming from, Tab says the same thing about the Philippines.

The skill level and passion of basketball in the Philippines is indeed crazy. I get it. And Tab has always said there are enough tall players to form a 12 man tall national team of legit height. I get that. And I don't deny that's true

But that's not the same as. Saying we're developing homegrown talent at the rate of others, Iba yun

He said stuff around discipline, eating rice, some don't like to defend

                          • This for speed training but the same application works as well for jump training

Basically develop strength then power then plyo and sport specific work in a cycle

                            • Justin Arana at 6’6 could be a very serviceable SF. If Kobe, Troy, MGR, Thirdy wouldn’t be available. Not as explosive as guys before but likes to run the floor with and without the ball

Ive recently seen these videos. From hoopx and tyrants. Shows that PH basketball is really a couple of years behind. Mixtapes and HS basketball highlights and exposures used to be the norm probably 9 years ago. Finally someone is trying to give these underrated kids exposure.

Anyways Justin Arana would be a really good addition in the Gilas Cadets program. The more players involved in the program the better.
