I also watched the last year MILO PASSERELLE final and I saw a tall kid playing for CKSK and his name is TIBAYAN and I think he is only around 14 years old and around 6'3-6'4 and he dunk the ball with authority. It was very rare for young filipino kid dunking ball at this age.
Isn't Bartolome already overage for HS ball? He was rumored to be going to NU.
    Keep running, big boy.

Look how tall 6'8 Isaac Go compared to 6'5 Arvin Tolentino and 6'3 Prince Rivero.

I wonder how tall Kirkness would be when he reaches 18. Usually grabe yung growth spurt at the age of 13 to 16 year of age.

I grew up by about 5 inches when I was 13 to 16 years of age. To think that I stand just about the average height of a Filipino male.

Great observation... remember in 2007, on the discussion about Junmar, when he was still a college kid in Cebu, he was described merely as a 6'7-6'8 kid who may have potential when he applied for PBA, I didn't believe his height to be 6'10 until after the measurement made on him

Slaughter, on the other hand, was already 6'11 even as he was playing in Cebu... their counterpart in Manila, Al Hussaini, was said to be 6'8 but turned out to be shorter...

i think its either they use shorter tapes in Cebu or the Manilenos tend to exaggerate things

Unfortunately for Parks he didn't have that growth spurt like Junmar, Japeth and other bigmen had. This is why I only placed kids 6'7 and up because they already had that growth spurt and who knows if they can grew an inch or two. For an instance AVO, Torres and Gotladera were just the same height entering Lasalle but of the 3 only AVO had that spurt from 6'6 to 6'9. Not the same for everyone.

Greg Slaugther - 7'0, 25 yrs old, Center

Junmar Fajardo - 6'10, 24 yrs old, Center

                  Arnold Van Opstal - 6'9, 21 yrs old, PF/C

                  Troy Rosario - 6'7, (21-23yrs old) PF

Matthew Aquino - 6'7, (17yrs old) Center - Still growing

Isaac Go - 6'7, (17 yrs old) Center - Still growing

Kobe Paras - 6'7, (17 yrs old) SF - Still growing

                  Tzaddy Rangel - 6'7 (16 yrs old) - PF - Still growing

                  Kmark Carino - 6'7 (16 yrs old) - Center - Still growing

                  Aj Edu - 6'7 (14 yrs old) PF/C - Projected height 6'10 and above.

Ethan Kirkness - 6'5 (12 yrs old) Center - Projected height 6'10 and above. He is not 6'7 yet but 6'5 at 12 is just wow.

Really keeping an eye on this players' development, they are the future of Philippine basketball against international competition. Hoping for Arvin Tolentino to have a growth spurt as he is still 18 yrs of age. Aquino might end up at 6'9, Kamark Carino's growth spurt is consistent from 6'5 to 6'7 in two years span. Kobe Paras is also still growing, imagine if he ends up at 6'8 to 6'9 with that handles and explosiveness. But what excites me is Edu and Kirkness, they can potentially grow into legit seven-footers. Edu's dad is a coach and stands at 6'8. He is way ahead on Kirkness in terms of skills and basketball age. Hopefully SBP can do something about Kirkness' development here before hopefully sending him to states for further training and development. Pretty exciting time for Pilipinas Basketball.
Is 6'7 Robert Hainga not good enough on the list?

                    • I hope we'll continue to produce players who are above 2 meters in height. And I hope this kids will continue to develop their body and skills to play on the next level and probably someone who could be good enough to play in the NBA someday.

Cariño is still eligible to play for the 2016 u18 team--that is we have plans on having a 6'7 player for the future.

Kmark had turned sweet 16 on Feb. 1.

When he came to the family together with Nomer Gonzales, also 16 and 6-foot-3, about two years ago, Kmark was “only” 6-foot-5. On his 16th birthday, Kmark was measured at almost 6-foot-7.

And to think that June Mar Fajardo, 6-foot-10, was a “mere” 6-foot-4 when he turned 16

I think he already played out his eligibility with UST.

Yeah, Robert Hainga I remember him. He is from Iloilo and was recruited by then Coach of UPHDS Bai Cristobal. Hainga was already at least 6'5 by that time and he was 17 years old. He played for couples years their in the bench before transfering to UST. I am from Las Pinas and I go in the same gym where players from Perpetual lift weights. He was also a former teammate of my brother. He is very raw and not as athletic and not that strong but he has some length. Never seen him made an impact on Perps neither on UST but nothing but best wishes on this player. Right now maybe he is 22 to 23 years age range.
