wow! just wow a 12 yr old battling against 16-18 bracket, and the kid is holding his own. That is a good sign right?

Yes. On top of that, having people that care for HIS future is even a better sign.

He will be here this coming October to fix all that and if I am not mistaken pursue his basketball development here. His parents wants him to play for Gilas.

Thanks Silent Killer. BTW, Ojies III, Gilas is now reaping all it had sown in its excellent WC performance. The world have noticed. Things are totally different now compared 3-4 years ago. Potential Gilas recruits from abroad are the ones doing efforts to join/tryout for the team now. Cool!

                    • I hope these three women can produce our future big men: Jaja Santiago 6'6 (NU volleyball player), Claire Castro 6'4 (FEU basketball player and she is a good player) and Dindin Santiago 6'2 (NU volleyball player)

I hope too but it's uncertain and it will take decades before it happens. As of now let's focus on the development of this kids.

Matthew Aquino - 6'7, (17yrs old) Center - Still growing

Isaac Go - 6'7, (17 yrs old) Center - Still growing

Kobe Paras - 6'7, (17 yrs old) SF - Still growing

                        Tzaddy Rangel - 6'7 (16 yrs old) - PF - Still growing

                        Kmark Carino - 6'7 (16 yrs old) - Center - Still growing

                        Aj Edu - 6'7 (14 yrs old) PF/C - Projected height 6'10 and above.

Ethan Kirkness - 6'5 (12 yrs old) Center - Projected height 6'10 and above. He is not 6'7 yet but 6'5 at 12 is just wow.

Recruit them to be members of future RP youth teams then just add local guards and pg. Most of them will be veterans already when qualifications for fiba 2023 starts

Who do you think from these kids (aside Kobe Paras) can play the small forward position?

Oh really? That's no mean feat! I mean, even an average 14-year old kid will easily get "bullied" inside the court by 16 & 18-year old basketballers even if the 14-year old kid enjoys some significant height advantage.

BTW, your post didn't answer my question about Tzaddy Rangel . Nevertheless, what you posted is really very very interesting. Thanks

Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

To be honest with you none, except for Edu. But the good news is they are still young wnd they have all time in the world to develop that smalll forward skills. Edu is going to be the most athletic from the bunch outside of Kobe being a fil-nigerian. If Edu goes to the US he can definitely develop that handles and all that offensive awareness that SF position requires because that's how they play there. But Edu will most probably out grow that SF position when its all said and done. Don't think he will be any shorter than 6'11.
