It would be fitting to close this thread... some people are just too lazy to post on the older threads... I'm sick talking about the same thing on two different threads all the time...
Or maybe close the old one and use this one as the new thread for the Philippine National Team instead!
there are still so many things to be discussed here. i believe posters can still see the new link provided for. The issue of having a new election for BAP-SBP is somewhat a good issue to take in here.

well i guess its the youth team, naaah, i dont expect too much from this youth team
hope nxt yr will be a lucky yr for philippine basketball
Correct, but they would compete in the Jones Cup with at least 2 imports, I think and some local reinforcements coming from a PBA ballclub.
^IMO, a Sam Ekwe and an Emeka Udo are enough as imports (the paint is already secured with them in there) ... well, you could add a couple of PBA mainstays in there for reinforcements (probably a good PF - someone like JR Reyes or Ranidel de Ocampo and a stable experienced PG)

Harbour Centre's owner, Mikee Romero won't like to have the same problem, it's to their best interest to acquire two tall foreigners, preferably Parada and this new guy Alexander of Brgy. Ginebra if he's that good. Some local players from PBA ballclubs who got eliminated from the Fiesta conference would likely beefup the team, as previously offered to them. Actually, there is no such thing as imports in the Jones Cup only participating teams.
No offense meant, but Sam Ekwe and Emeka Udo, won't just do, the level of competion at the Jones Cup is much more higher than the SEABA Club Championship. If Mikee Romero really wants to win such a prestigious title, he needs to go for it, strenghten his team. A distinct honor for Harbour Centre to belong to such great teams as NCC, San Miguel and previous Philippine national teams who won the Jones Cup title..
