Filipinos should learn that for the next ten or twenty tears half-bred Filipinos will represent the country internationally... whether we like it or not... Filipinos should get used to a national team with no five footers or six foot under..

I suggest, Gabe Norwood should to play in USA or Europe. He will not improve here in the PBL(A Philippine Junior League). He will be experience here in 3 & 4 position. I should to apply him in NBA draft. And then he will back if needs him for National Team.

I think playing in the US, specially in the NBA is every basketball player's dream. It will be enough, I think, for him to show his love to his country by playing with the National Team on its International Campaigns. no need to play in the PBA. That might just hinder his growth as a player. I am no t saying that PBA is a bad league. But come to think of it, when your already at level 2, are your going so slide back at level 1?

Gabriel Norwood (196-G/F-85) will play under the SEAG-bound RP Harbour Centre National Team in the 7th Brunei Cup Basketball Championship this coming August 25 in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei.

Norwood's name was listed in the tournament's official website along with other former pro and amateur players like Ato Morano, Chico Lanete, Jeffrey Chan, Dennis Daa, Eric Dela Cuesta, Joshua Urbiztondo, Chad Alonzo, Jason Castro, Beau Belga, Erick Rodriguez, Christian Coronel, Jerwin Gaco, Allan Salansang and Robert Sanz that will play in the prestigious annual basketball tournament which offers a grand total prize of B$35,000, biggest in the region so far.

Norwood, who will likely to play in Philippine Basketball League, is still consulting with its agent and weighing up options whether to apply for PBA next year or to play in US or Europe after carrying the national colors in the coming South East Asian Games in Thailand.

Brunei Cup this year will be considered as the most competitive in its tournament history after the confirmation of Australia's National Basketball League expansion squad Singapore Slingers to join the tournament. Other teams that will also give hard time for the RP Harbour Centre NT bid are last years runner-up Darwin Airport Resort All-Stars, Jordan All-Stars which will be reinforced by a number of Jordan national team members that competed recently in the W.Jones Cup and the Asian Championship in Japan, PBA's Sta Lucia Realty, and Korean Basketball League's LG Sakers which will be bannered by its two American imports

1. please choose to play in Europe. so he would get even better.

2. if not in Europe, try to stay in the US like NBDL or the likes.

we hope he gets better so he can be a big factor for the national team.

3. do not play in the PBL because he will not get better for the fact he is better than most of the players. do not play in the PBa because he will be transformed to a frontcourt player like a center or a powerforward. this will not be good for his career. it is not he is not welcome in the PBA but we wish he could get better and better so he will be a force for the national team.
