    Sir Giannis,

the last time we played against them we are very much competitive until the last 7 mins.vs. NZL) and 3 mins vs. SK of those game

based on my own personal observation, composure and the ladies was gassed-up kills us..VDJ, Pontejos and Jack are cramping up in that stretch.

I totally agree that a stint in WMPBL will surely establish chemistry and composure to the team.

it would be interesting to watch how a VDJ-Naomi-Gabby combination pitted against NZL. SK and JAP for the coming tourney.

5'7 Panganiban's work rate at Div. 1 is very encouraging for a freshman

imagine if she is in the 5'10 level..

anyway, it's just a matter of time

the last time I've heard there's a good number of talented girls who will play for the coming NBTC tourney

both for Filam Nation Select and Filcan Nation respectively.

we had a fighting chance against Japan for as long as our outside shot, defensive scheme and ball rotation works

because we could match-up very well with their quickness and height was not an issue

the big gap really is the experience and they've been on that high level since the time of adam.(their domestic league is really the key)

as for the AUS, well we don't have the firepower yet to match-up with their height and heft on all position compared to JAP

I would be happy if we will be defeated by a single margin and hoping our outside shots is in the 50's(%)

we are more quicker but their length and heft is really an irritation for coach Pat's pace and space system.

we do hope we could get an earlier exemption for Favour as soon as possible...

paging Mam Erica Dy were counting on you

as I previously said, experience and composure in playing in a high level are the big advantage of the Lady Akatsukis

but in terms of height and speed we are almost even

honestly we more grittier than them, we only need to calm our nerves esp. when the going gets tough

and be consistent with our long shots esp. in the 3-pt area, I think against the JAP above 40% is competitive enough

just swing the ball more quicker and accurate to make our designated shooter more comfortable and had better looks

I like coach Pat's Pace and Space System and his full court version of the dreaded Pumaren press.

as for the REB department at least our Frontline can match-up with them just make sure the average is almost even.

if we could do that, we could certainly establish another history in Philippine Team Sports

just like the Azkals has done during the Asean Football Cup.
Taiwan can easily return next edition in 2027, since division B tournament is too easy for them.. one of Philippines, Lebanon and Indonesia will again out.. but I think we are better than Lebanon and Indonesia... Our target is to be in top 6 team to be order to qualify for main qualifiers of 2026 Fiba world cup next year... It means we have to beat Lebanon to be in that scenario...

We beat Taiwan already.. so we are already better than them, especially if we are complete team... And if Favour Onoh finish his naturalization papers before the Asia cup next year, our size will be better.. as good as VDJ is, we badly need bigs... Naomi Panganiban can replicate that role...
