having a semi-pro league for women is a good starting point moving forward.
as we all know Womens Volleyball started the same route during that time via Shakey's V-League and Philippine Super Liga
wherein HS(?) and college players can still play without compromising their school eligibility because GAB provided them a "special permit"
then they decided to merge anyway, when the fanbase were beginning to bloom
I think that's the pathway or route the Sen. PAC needs to traverse and make it a home and away format.
wherein school gyms will be an ideal venue so that students from their respective schools had the opportunity to cheer for them
without compromising of going to a distance venue like MOA or Araneta.
the best example for this is the college mens volleyball team of DLSU-Eco Oil Green Spikers and DNS Steel-FEU Mens Team
who are both compose of the existing student-athlete in preparation for the coming UAAP Volleyball competition.
but the games are being held in Ynares Sports Complex in Pasig-Capitol
now if they could only apply the same template in womens basketball
then that would be an ideal game plan for that propose Womens League by Sen PAC.
imagine both UAAP and NCAA teams can benefit on this in preparation for their respective league
and at the same time to our Gilas team to make sure that they are always in sharp and game shape
also, to those hafus who already maximize their respective collegiate years but wants to continue playing in preparation
for their respective call-ups from other well established womens league abroad then this is also a best option for them as well.
who knows maybe we could get an exemption to those ineligibles in the immediate future.
I've already posted the same intentions before and I will never stop re-posting the same storyline
because women basketball needs to start on something it doesn't matter if it is big or small.
currently, we are either Rank no. 6 or 7 in the lates FIBA Asia Ranking for Women and it's just a matter of time
before we crack that top 5 and we need to do something in our own backyard
the same thing to those in the current Top 5 what they are doing on their respective backy's.

that sizeable crowd during that winner take all game is a good sign indeed for women's basketball.
I do hope that the momentum of that c'ship game would be a good start moving forward
the talent level of the girls really manifested and they are really inspired to level up.
the concept of a school based semi-pro league ala PBA D League wherein school gyms will be a venue
is a good platform for marketing as far as TV viewership are concern
when prospective advertisers and sponsors saw those campus students rooting their respective alma mater like madness e.g. shrieks and drumbeat
surely they will pour in the necessary investment on women's basketball.
mainstream media should really do their part the way they've done on women's volleyball during there hungry days.

there you go..
Led by champion UAAP coach Haydee Ong of the UST Growling Tigresses as its commissioner, an invitational tournament will prelude the WMPBL’s first season as a professional league which will happen mid next year.
“That’s why the WMPBL is here. This league isn’t just about basketball, it’s about women empowerment.”
From an initial plan of eight teams in the WMPBL Invitational tournament, Ong’s team decided to expand to 14 squads due to the insistent demand of women ball clubs across the country.
