Whats with the FEU - JRU and Mapua connection?

Care to explain as I saw some transferring to Malayan for 1 year then playing at FEU at the seniors program since 2017

The reality is that there are only 8 teams and 16 slots per team. That’s 128 roster spots and how many new freshman recruits are there every year? There just isn’t a spot for every one, unless players leave to go pro earlier.
Gollena, overachieve. An unheralded recruit coming in. Has the fortitude to be patient and become an 'MVP" in his role. I believe he is pro ready at this level. At the very least he can contribute on day one in a MPBL team.

I agree. Cortez, Baclaan, Pablo, Amos will most likely be gone after 2 seasons, some might even leave earlier. Motor mike is already graduating. They could use that 1-2 years to work on themselves muna since imo they still need to bulk up and ready their bodies to be effective at the next level.

What a lot of people dont realize is that only a handful fresh from hs recruits even the blue chip ones, are ready to consistently contribute to a college team by year one. It usually takes a year or 2 before someone can be inserted, have regular playing time and thrive within their system. So even if the coaches give these kids immediate playing time, if they're not ready, they wont be doing too much. Not everyone can be Pre's or KQ's. And not everyone can handle the immediate burden of leading their collegiate teams. For me, the lesser the initial pressure, the more beneficial for their development.

There’s another one. Will probably be announced soon.

There's a possibility that dlsu end up with all three. Quines, Daep and Buenaflor. This will be bad news for melencio, sarmiento and alian tho. UP will prolly focus at the graduating guards, long shot but letran squire daniel padilla is also former goldwin boy like andy gemao was.
