Benilde was also on their 2nd game of a back to back, prolly why they fell behind in the 1st half. Most of those guys especially those in the jr mpbl is also in their 3rd-4th game for days now.

Benilde just got their bearings in the last quarter. Solid game for Umali even with all the issues.

I think SJ Moore and Adrian Sollano have a game later in the Junior MPBL. The Jr MPBL sked is brutal. It’s like their 3rd straight game in 3 days no day offs.

Most of the players in the Junior MPBL Dleague are Team B or are in the training team in college. This tournament is a good place to scout for homegrown diamond-in-the-rough players. Players looking for exposure to land a varsity spot in college.

Some of the kids that caught my eye were guards Jaymark Lloren and Jevy Hinoguin,

Hinuguin was actually caloocan kid, and also played for kankaloo last season, this maybe a bittersweet moment for him defeating his hometown for the crown. I think baste will be a good fit for him, as their next great PG.

As for lloren he was with ue, not sure if he's still there.

Good fight back for benilde against valientes this evening. Down by maybe 20+, able to trim the lead to 4 before time ran out out. Ancheta and Sanchez only key blazers in the lineup.

Its early and letran may have new faces, but they still look as dysfunctional as last year. Manalili looks like a shell of his old self. Buensalida and roque looks heavy and flat footed. Team still needs a lot of work to be done to get ready for next season because at this point, csb, mapua and san beda are still miles ahead of them, while other teams have also improved their lineups.

They have lots of guards namely: montecillo, estrada, miller, baliling, jumao-as, delfino, tagotongan, tas newcomers rosillo, manalili, ferreras and golez and the returning fajardo and bautista.

No wonder guys like marcelo decided to move out, while season 99 guards garupil, alarcon and bojorcelo are already with new teams.
