    It’s early but I’m bored.

Who do you think will make the SEA games roster?

Thailand are the hosts. They will surely try to win the gold because they saw how vulnerable we are.

    My personal choice:

    Ange
    Junemar
    Boatwright
    Japeth
    KQ
    Oftana
    Phillips
    BGR
    Scottie
    Newsome
    Malonzo
    Lucero

        Sir Sroth,

you don't need to get bored

Bossing you need to get excited from now on, actually we should be

because Philippine Sports had the Billions on it's coffers moving forward

previously we are timid and used to hold back because we don't have the budget

but now we are aiming for that overall SEA Games championship starting from that THA edition

were just hoping the stakeholders in the PSC are using their cards right and doesn't succumb

to the evilness of some of our gov't. officials

anyway as for our possible basketball lineup I exclude Boatwright for this edition and let that ligaments fully heal

just let the much younger FIBA ineligible play as part of their on-going merits

I am sold on the ff: if ever they would put a possible pool

        QMB
        AK34
        Barefield
        Lucero
        Balunggay
        Philipps
        BGR
        Llemitt
        Laput
        Tuffin(FIBA eligible)
        Koon
        Villegas

        longshot would be..

        RHJ
        Hepa
        Sage

we have to be aware that the host country will parade their own hafus as well that big Thai-Euro, Lamb, Morgan and Lish will be there

the possibility that CAM will also parade those naturalized tourists and that dangerous Cam-Ams

VIET will most probably parade the Juzang bros and slew of their Viet-Ams as well

INA will be there now that they are assembling a pool of naturalized including a few(?) previous PBA imports.

as a fan I'm not onion on that...the stiffer the competition the better.

as I said we already had the Billions for Philippine Sports at far as those top 10 in the medal standings on the recently concluded Paris Olympics

it's all about "Spend the money wisely" and we will be good and ultra competitive from now on all sports discipline

If I were POC and Gymnastics federation, I will field Yulo siblings here, I like their potential too, especially the younger brother Mark Edriel.. I think he is better than Caloy at that age, we should bring more young potential athletes here to expose them early.. Also I hope we can find Obiena's future replacement here and train alongside EJ.. as good as EJ is, he's competing against the currently GOAT of Pole Vault (Duplantis), But still, EJ is the GOAT of Asian pole vault... Also the likes of Vannesa Sarno should redeem themselves after their poor performance last Olympics... They have also potential, but they are too pressured to perform in their very first Olympic campaign... Actually, the likes of Carlos Yulo, EJ Obiena, Hidelyn Diaz should not join here anymore, since they are too good here in Seagames competition, they should give way to younger players who badly need this competition... Although I think POC will tell them to join for added gold medals to our country... And also the host should include sports that will be Olympic sports by 2028 such as cricket, flag football, lacrosse, rugby, baseball and softball.. enough of those traditional sports..

As for basketball, I'm more interested in womens basketball than men's side... We are not that dominating in womens basketball because last seagames, we lost to Indonesians (because they parade 3 naturalized players) in the battle for gold, we have to secure dominance here in South East Asia basketball region both mens and womens division, as the only basketball nation in the region... I hope the papers of Favour Onoh will be already ok by then (I hope as early as July 2025, for her to join FIBA Asia cup for womens as well).. but because US based players will be not available due to ongoing US NCAA season, so that likes of Ramos, Panganiban and Fajardo will not available... I think the roster for womens basketball will be led by veterans and players from UAAP...

            The roster will be:

            Jack Animam (C - 6'5)
            Favour Onoh (C - 6'5)
            Kacey Dela Rosa (PF/C - 6'0)
            Jazmin Joson (G/F - 5'8)
            Camille Clarin (G - 5'8)
            Afril Bernardino (G - 5'8)
            Angelica Surada (F - 5'8)
            Khate Castillo (SG - 5'4)
            Janine Pontejos (G - 5'5)
            France Cabinbin (PG - 5'2)
            Stephanie Berberabe (PG - 5'3)
            Louna Ozar (G/F - 5'8)

Look like small, but this is already the average height for basketball in seagames basketball... I'm sure even the US NCAA players of Vietnam and Thailand will be not available.. the biggest threat will be Indonesia, since they will parade multiple naturalized players again same last 2023 seagames.. but with Animam and Onoh, we can beat them with their many imports...

While I expect men's team to win again... Anything less than gold is already a disappointment...

because we already had the Billions of money we can now hire the very best brain in any sports discipline to coach and guide our children aside from the usual transfer of technology.

we can now participate in all high caliber tournaments abroad to hone, expose and gather enough experience amongst the current best

can afford to hire world class doctors and experts to optimize the physical, psychologist, nutritionist and overall being of our athletes in the same breath as Hazel Calawod and luckily we Filipinos are one of the best brain of those things I've mentioned.

currently our main challenges are the Olympic level facilities on all 15 Regions to jumpstart our quest

Grassroot Development and trainings are only limited on some discipline

Batang Pinoy and Palarong Pambansa type of Sports conclave are badly needed starting from age of 5 yrs old and above

all LGU, Private Sectors and all Gov't. units must join hand in hand if we want to be the new super power in Sports both in SEA, Asian Games and Olympics

we could now produce the new breed of sports heroes much stronger, faster, taller, wiser, cerebral athletes in the near future

I hope someone watch the PSA forum awhile ago in their Facebook account wherein the main guest was CYG

and the main topic was the recent SC ruling about those Billions and the goals on Philippine Sports moving forward.

And also informed some young athletes that there are many sports outside basketball or volleyball, especially who are too small to play that sport .. if you are 5'5 below, forget volleyball and basketball.. try other sports that suits for their height..

                  Sir Giannis,

those It It kids had a big part in Philippine Sports moving forward.

                  look at Caloy and Hidilyn

there are very small but they are very terrible as far as skillsets are concern

Also talk to the parents. Many see their kids going into basketball and/or volleyball as a meal ticket to get out of poverty

Did you see how blessed Carlos Yulo today? If he choose to play basketball or volleyball, we will not see a double Olympic gold medalist.. or EJ Obiena as one of the best pole vaulters.. let's be real, basketball and volleyball are height dominated sport.. as long as you good in that sport but your height is not suit in that sport, better choose another sport that suits for you... We should encourage Filipino generation who want to play sports that there are many sports to play and be a next Carlos Yulo, Hidilyn Diaz or EJ Obiena.. rather to force yourself to play a sport that is disadvantage to your genes...

Yeah.. we have to apply other countries who they manage their sports program.. I love basketball but only taller players should pursue being professional basketball player.. those who are small in height should forget basketball...

I’d pick Scottie Thompson. He’s got amazing playmaking skills and always brings energy to the game. With his leadership on the court, I believe he’d be a key player in helping the team go for gold at the SEA Games!
By the way, if you’re into enhancing skills with some fun, check out Car Parking Multiplayer MOD APK for a great way to level up your parking game.
