University of Florida Gators
the consensus no. 21 ranked team of the coming season are now coach by Todd Golden now on it's 3rd Season
despite losing to no. 10 Colorado in last season's round of 64 and 4-Star recruit 6'4 Zyon Pullin who now plying his stuff at the G-League's Sioux Falls Skyforce after he was waived by the Miami Heat recently.
now the next big question is who will be the next sidekick of Sr. Walter Clayton Jr., a 4-Star recruit from Bartow HS in Florida with the departure of ZP.
indeed that's a very big shoes to fill-in for the likes of Sophomores like 6'4 G Kevin Pazmino from Weston, Florida, 6'2 Alex Condon from Perth, Aus, Lithuanian 6'4 Kajus Kublckas, 6'4 Cooper Josefsberg
but fellow IBNers, what really intrigues me for the Gators nowadays is the recruit of former U16 and U18 7'9 Canadian kid Olivier Rioux a 3-Star Recruit from Quebec.
man oh man!! having a 6'9 Father a former volleyball player and 6'1 mother who works in a corporate world
the result well, his 6'9 older bro. Emille is also a basketball player.
with another behemoth in 7'1 Micah Handlogten a 4-Star Recruit from Southlake Christian Academy in Hunterville, North Carolina
surely they will form a very tall frontcourt in the history of the school program but also for the entire nation with Sophomore 6'9 Nigerian Rueben Chinyelu and Junior 6'11 Denzel Aberdeen
but the possible starting lineup for the coming 2024-25 season would be
PG Walter Clayton Jr
SG Alex Condon
F Will Richard
F Alijah Martin a transferee from FAU
C Rueben Chinyelu a transferee from Washington State

University of Arizona Wildcats in Tucson
the consensus Rank no. 9 for the coming season and one of most colorful/controversial college basketball program of the nation
as a 90's guy it's all over the news how legendary coach Lute Olson and his Start 5 plus 1 of pinoy hafu(?) Mike Bibby, Mike Dickerson, Miles Simon, Ben Davison, AJ Bramlett and Jason Terry
defeated the dreaded Univ. of Kentucky Wildcats of legendary coach Rick Pitino with 1st rounders like Nazr Mohammed and Scott Padgett of the Utah Jazz, Jamaal Magloire of the Charlotte Hornets, Ron Mercer of the Boston Celtics, Derek Anderson of the Cleveland Cavs whose mission was to become
my playmates coined that championship game as " The Battle of the Cats, The Wildcats "
fast forward, many things happened after that historic game.
coach Rick Pitino are no longer part of the Univ. of Kentucky program by accepting that Celtics job after the "battle of the wildcats", the allegedly under the table(?) and recruiting issues on coach Lute Olson's prior to his abrupt retirement, the Jason Terry scandal, Deandre Ayton issues related to that infamous firing of then coach Sean Miller and his coaching staff.
but despite all of this, the Arizona Wildcats is still considered as one of the elite and winningest basketball program of the nation.
now under coach Tom Lloyd on his 4th Season what caught my attention was the storyline"Can the Arizona Wildcats get rid of it's March bugaboo after that 97 championship?
let's see
Projected Starting lineup
6'4 SF KJ Lewis a 4-Star prospect from Duncanville HS in Texas
6'4 Guard Jaden Bradley a 4-Star recruit from Bradenton Florida and product of IMG Academy
7'2 Center Motiejus Krivas a 4-Star Prospect from Lithuania
6'6 SF Trey Townsend a 4-Star recruit from Oxford HS in Michigan
6'3 Guard Caleb Love a 5-Star prospect from Christian Brothers College in St. Louis, Missouri

I've watched the game because the narrative was between the Panther's possible future NBA First Rounder(?) and Gilas guard Jaland Lowe and the Sophomore from the Highlander Ibu Yamazaki who last played for JAP U19 FIBA WC in 2021.
even though JLowe are more impressive on this game, I could see that the Black-Jap kid Ibu had so much potential as well esp. with his length at the wings
let's see who will be in FIBA WC 2031 for both hafus in 7 years down the line.

I just watch the US NCAA when it is already the march madness tournament. And I can't still understand how the hell the elimination games / regular season works in US NCAA. You got teams in 1 conference all have undefeated records from the 1st seed until to the mid standing all have 7-0 record and they are just 10 teams in 1 conference lol. Don't they play each other in their own conference? I keep searching how it works but I just can't find anything lol. Would appreciate if someone enlighten me.
