government funding mostly goes to athletes who compete in individual sports, especially sports that do not have much of commercial value so i don't know where they get the idea that it's the government who is funding our basketball team plus private entities has the right to decide on which sports they want to support, for them whichever brings the biggest commercial value is where they will spend their money, and yes, the government funding during the world cup was for hosting the event, as the success of hosting this big sporting event brings value to the country's tourismOriginally posted by IPC View PostComment

I don't know your opinions but on my opinion, it's already yes, those Olympic golds are bigger value than world titles in boxing or world titles in billiards, etc... because we all know Olympics is highest competition in sporting world (only FIFA World cup is higher recognition than Olympics).. and he's not done yet.. he will just 28 in 2028 and I'm sure he wants more gold in any gymnastics events... He will also the GOAT in gymnastics once he will retires as multiple gold medalist in many gymnastic events...Comment
