I dunno. He works hard and have some skills but he is not too tall, average athleticism, a average ballhandler and playmaker, average defender, not a deadshot three point shooter

Too short to be a PF and too slow to be a SF. For sure, he will anchor the Japanese frontline for many years to come after Hachi and Watanabe retire. I just don't see him taking the Japanese team to greater heights.

You were literally dickriding Oscar Schmidt hard lmao. You were crowning him as the GOAT putting him with Michael Jordan in a sentence without having his records and stats being official.

So I guess if praising a team for their good program is a dickriding, then what you are doing is an understatement of dickriding.

Akira Jacobs is looking like a project who Rui Hachimura once been.

Yuto Kawashima on the other hand needs to learn to play wing.

Those 2 could be the future Hachimura and Watanabe if the stars align.
Youth prospects are lottery tickets. If you are just gonna bet on 1 or 2, like we do, then thats gonna be difficult.

One things for sure is they are getting a big chance to showcase their talent. Japan has no other youth player with high potential to bet on.

Greece is currently -14 while australia is plus 2, Spain is -5 , greece needs to win by more than 20 points to be safe, and hope that Canada beat Spain

                      • I remember back in 2009 there was a very similar case of a girl with a guy’s genetics(lack of a better term), she happens to be my classmate in UST. Her name is Serenata Saluan. The year she participated in the UAAP track and field her rookie year, she won the ROY and MVP that year. Here is an article of her rookie year.

FAR Eastern University (FEU) and Adamson University (AdU) ripped their separate foes to remain on top after the 10th round of the University Athletic Associatio

Sucks that instead of having a scientific discussion regarding this, we have a polarized debate with both parties throwing non sequitur arguments

im all for inclusion and stuff, but combat sports is a different can of worms

anyways i am more frustrated with watanbe it seems he plays better in NBA than in national team, with all those years in NBA he should at least be the clear second best player in the roster
Most NBA players struggling to find place to be fit in FIBA rules... Even Steph Curry struggling... Remember what Luka, Giannis and Jokic said about the difference between NBA rules and FIBA rules.. that is a fact check... Carlik Jones look Curry a regular G league player.. Jones easily outplayed curry in their match...

GOAT in FIBA... Did you understand that.. did I said he's the GOAT all time? And who by the way is the number 1 scorer in FIBA and Olympics? And by the way there is huge difference between NBA setting and FIBA setting.. Steph Curry, one of the best players in this generation but in this event, he was look like a regular player... He look Carlik Jones better than him... This is because of the rules between two leagues...

Steph is actually a good FIBA player, especially with regards to his shooting. He shoots around 40% from 3 in his World Cups.
