if i will have a dollar for every post i see in different platforms about South Sudan not having an indoor court i don't know how much i have now, they don't have an indoor court but most of the players of South Sudan were not just suddenly sprouted out of the country and then Loul assembled a team of good, tall and athletic players, most of these players were migrated to another country and learned and developed basketball outside of Sudan except for Khaman Maluach, they are indeed amazing but i hope people stop acting like as if they learn how to play ball in the streets of South Sudan without having a functional indoor court

That is understandable... Mandaluyong city or Quezon city in the Philippines is more richer than SSD as a country as whole.. it's hard to bash them or arguing that their players are not developed by their country's basketball federation... First of all, SSD just only become independent in 2011.. they have years of struggle to fight for freedom from Sudan.. Civil wars, hunger, not stable situation, especially jobs are part of SSD's struggle on those years under Sudan.. even you are in their situation, you will have to escape and find more opportunities abroad.. even their build up for their Olympic stint was hard, Loul Deng spend his own money to support the basketball program of SSD.. they have hard time to find sponsors to bankrolling the team... They should be inspiration for all of countries who want their basketball program develop... They beating teams who are 10x or more in terms of budgets for their basketball program, including Gilas Pilipinas last year...
We may perhaps not see Nigeria, Angola, Tunisia, Senegal and Cameroon in the Olympics in the foreseeable future as long as SSD keeps on competing.Manifesting: Philippines top 5 in the FIBA World Rankings

If all time, Oscar Schmidt can rival Durant 's FIBA greatness.... Oscar is the leading scorer all time for both FIBA World cup and Olympic basketball.. yes, Durant has many gold medal than Oscar but the latter has more incredible feats in FIBA competitions....

Oscar Schmidt is more on longevity. Im talking about every time he represents his country. Theres no one, that plays better in international competition than Kevin Durant. The only guy I can say that has no weakness in intl competition was him and Carmelo Anthony
