It's crucial/winning time in the NFL, guys got to suck up whatever it is they're going through. Not to mention, each and every NFL game matters 10x more. Meanwhile in the nba...

Also, there's 3 Rams players that occasionaly play hoops in my neighborhood fitness gym (our place isn't anywhere near as pricey as Palisades). A lot of those NFL guys can't afford to live in the places that were afffected.

We can never truly know how much the wildfires affected them, but I'd reckon the house of the head coach burning down will tend to distract a team.

trade season begins with Suns acquiring Nick richard for josh okogie. Suns sent 3 2nd round picks as well and Charlotte sent back 1 2nd round pick.
aside from getting a center who wants to rebound, Suns will save $20 million of tax savings.

Another take on why the NBA is now 53% down in viewership. My own take is the NBA getting greedy on international audience, and then just casting aside the need of the American viewers and fans. That no 3 spot as the favorite sports in America is in trouble. https://youtu.be/Uxz0jW3auiQ?si=NbqHY0AX-GHeuPjg
Both the NFL and MLB is now also reaching internationally but never neglected the local viewers.

I hate to see this as I really like Jimbo and what he contributed to our franchise.
knowing Pat Riley, he might just let Butler walk to send a message. (Though this might have implications when they try court marquee free agents in the near future)

Lakers still playing uninspired basketball. LA, the city / county deserves a break and Lebron, AD, and the Lakers cant provide that it got beaten by the Spurs.
