Sheppard at 3 does not surprise me. Very high bbiq and elite skills. Can be someone in between a Mark Price or Nash (with less passing).

Scouts probably did their homework and looked at all his measurables. He was very late to basketball. Played baseball (as a pitcher) and hockey most of his youth.

So in terms of balance (hockey), reflexes/quick twitch (baseball) and overall mobility for a 7-footer...they know he's wired right. And since he's a bit late in basketball...they know that he still has a ton of upside when it comes to skill and bbiq.

I remember Edey in the fiba World Cup against nba players and he didn’t really look good defensively, didn’t really get much touches but he was super efficient in scoring. Will be interesting to see him in the modern nba

Yeah, that was the best pick we could make at 11. Holy crap. We finally took the upside pick. Can't believe he fell to us.

His shooting needs work, and his wingspan isn't the longest. Still, he's a good defender, has a competitive streak, and a good work ethic. Hope he becomes a star with us.

I dont get this 2 day event of the draft. What if the player who got invited in the green room doesnt get drafted in the 1st round, so he needs to go back tom hoping he finally gets drafted?
