For me, allow naturalized players in the PBA but they are still classified as such. In lieu of naturalized players, teams can sign foreign student-athletes or Asian players. There should be only one slot available for the naturalized player, foreign student-athlete and Asian import. Getting one excludes the other two.

Does this mean naturalized players can play in MPBL as locals too ?

This is too much of an advantage. A compromise would be to allow a second Asian heritage import along with NPs.

The concern with this is obviously parity, where the most common issue raised is Ginebra possibly rostering Brownlee + another import. Moreover, a team in essence can even roster two or more naturalized players if the rule will be straightforward in identifying NP's as locals (imagine a team with Brownlee, Boatwright and Kouame + an import during import conferences--not impossible btw).

With this, the solution is obviously a creative policy that can mitigate the concerning scenarios above. But I cant see any incentive for any PBA stakeholder to push through with a complicated policy.

This is long overdue. Hope the PBA implements it but the naturalized players will only be playing on lower ranked teams as they are visibly handicapped.

If there is. Ateam that matches up with pba ( not powerhouse would be) the hi tech team or any team from thailand withc the core of thailand nt ( with theur thai ams and bigs ejesu) they can be at least mid tier even in philippine cup tournaments (not saying all filipino, its high time to have a guest team in the leagues most prestigious conference)

I'm confident Balti is going to rediscover the 3-pt shooting he once had, especially during his Gilas stint in 2020-2021 under coach Tab Baldwin.

Converge has a very promising young core (Arana, Stockton, Heading, Winston and Baltazar) and their line up has the potential to be a regular playoff contender. But I think they still need more in order to be able to contend against the top teams in TNT, Ginebra and SMB

GSM is a smaller team without CS.
You don't need to be ball dominant guy especially with Eastern who has scorers already such as Lam, Cao, etc... McLaughlin make hard of any opponents driving to the lane, the thing that Nicholson can't do... Yes, it's hard to lose Cstand but who to blame why they lose Cstand by the way? That is also their reason why they lose to TNT last conference... But they have to move on right now and play whoever on this team today...

As I said talent wise BAD is better but Eastern is more fluid and more cohesive.. Nicholson is more credentials but I say McLaughlin is better fit.. he doesn't need the ball just to be impactful...
