no commitments yet for TNT and Ginebra when it comes to their imports or if they will be retaining the services of JB and RHJ.
The Manimal could create havoc on the entire league if ever he suites up for a team that matches his strengths. Obviously he is super athletic and a voracious glass cleaner. Transition offense will benefit nicely. He will be a prolific roll man specially if the point guard is a lights out shooter. However, Faried is a poor shooter, has shaky handles and is a pretty mediocre defender. Because of this, spacing will suffer so he must be surrounded with shooters. Pairing him with Hodge in the front court would be a problem if the other three guys won't click consistently in the perimeter. Still, exciting times ahead if we can see more ex-NBA guys, preferably combo forwards, stretch fours and agile bigs, plying their trade in the PBA. And hopefully, they can get rid of that stupid height limit for good.

    • Talk ‘N Text with a substantial lead so far in the first half. Ginebra looks flat-footed as they didn’t know what hit them.

      • TNT leads 3-2 after 5 games. They'll probably close this thing out on Friday.

If it goes to game 7 because of a GSM down the wire, I won’t be surprised if the officials were influenced by Chualay.

What would they do to influence the result and why haven't they done it last year

Typically with SMC teams before, a series would go to game 7. Noticeable are switching of favorable 50/50 calls similar to NBA home/away. GSW, particularly without Durant, was generally weak on the road. At home opposing teams would complain about all the moving screen non-calls. It’s more obvious in the PBA because there is no home and away format. Audience would be baffled by the sudden change in performance. Slightly favoring calls would do that. Like swallowing whistle on contact in the paint. Teams will be forced to settle for outside shots because they are being in the paint with no calls. Then commentator will say they lost because they settled for outside shots without pointing to the reason they were doing that in the first place. Simulating homecourt calls without an actual homecourt is pretty bad.

They should.. playing against Ginebra on game 7 w/ huge crowd is very dangerous... They should finish it now.. and also for Gilas benefit... Ginebra will have better chances next conference w/ Malonzo, Gray and possibly Rosario will play for them w/ this core...

                  • Ginebra would need more than favorable calls to swing that deficit of theirs last game. Theres also challenges now so that in a way can circumvent some really crucial clalls.

                    • TNT better close out tonight. They do not want a Game 7 against Ginebra.

Expect Brownlee to make up tonight for a poor performance in Game 5.

                      • Cu and RJ should be used more preferably together with Brownlee

                        • I really dont understand Cone's persistence with making Scotty run the offence.

                            • Ginebra storms from a 34-42 deficit to a 43-42 half time lead. Abarientos coming alive this Game 6.
