  • Last championship of tnt, they had to rely on MGR, who is not offensive guy, Montalbo, who is very lucky why he is in the league for no reason and Varilla, no offense to him, he is waste of spot there… Now, they have Aurin, who is like Fonancier back in the days last decade after Chot…

Cstan is UFA after the season right? Time to offer him a contract he’s still serviceable for 3-4 yrs. Unless all bridges are already burnt

      • RHJ is the perfect import to Chot's DDO. A 6'6 athletic freak who can suck in defenses and facilitate.

I guess that also speaks a lot about RJ’s defense. Castro is not particularly bad on defense although he should be worse now. Nambatac should be decent though since played under Yeng. Aurin I dont know.

Scotty - too small, easily gets pushed
            Ahanmisi - too slow
RJ - less said about his defence the better

Maybe Ginebra will take a game but they are out of their depth.

Not to mention RHJ is eating brownlee alive whenever they matchup on defense
I did not see the game. Scotty got the stats. But he was ineffective?

            • RHJ just played with perhaps the best 3-pt shooting night in his career last night. He isn't known for his 3-pt shooting. In last night's game the Ginebra defense left him open a lot of times from the 3-pt becoz as I've said, he isn't known as a deadly 3-pt shooter.

For a rebuilding team, I think a finals appearance isn't bad for Ginebra, especially if we consider the fact that it is missing a Jamie Malonzo whom we know is a very vital component of the team. Yes, Standhardinger's departure left a big void to the team but coach Tim knew it & he was willing to give up Standhardinger for the future. I don't think coach Tim expected his team to win a championship right in its rebuilding stage.

                  • after watching last night's game

RHJ proves himself to everyone including me

that he is indeed a legit NBA level guy

despite having an ageing and glassy teammates

he proves himself he can carry that team to that promise land

he is the runaway Best Import awardee no question ask

CTC should do the necessary adjustment because DDO Sr.

are dead serious to make it 3-0

it's the time of the year for both father to redeem themselves

                    after a so-so Gilas adventure

now, if ever the DDO father and son captures that crown and some media peeps suddenly get excited and

come out with the audacity for a possible "Gilas return gig" storyline

                    oh boy!! never again

oopss!! sorry man you can't do that!!

never publish nor post that news article to save faces

Better not to hype their win.. It just a regular championship, actually fans are not that enthusiastic about pba championship glory nowadays.. we all know either Ginebra, TNT or SMB will always win.. And that proves RHJ can led a team even a coach is not that good... Remember he led Jordan to a silver medal finish last Asian games.. their coach there always bashed, Just like Chot, Al Sous is not that good coach.. He look like good because of RHJ overall performance...

He got put backs and hustle plays, he shined when he had RJ on the floor who will make the play, when hes forced to make a play at the second half it ends up nowhere.

I think you need the personnel for that. TNT is a versatile defensive team, with their best defender being RHJ and they have Pogoy (which I reluctantly say) and Khobuntin who can wear JB down. Erram is the inside presence.
