Jordan Heading is in town. Looks like he is interested in playing in the PBA. Probably Snow's rumor about Converge is true.

Also in 2021 Gilas made up of amateur then amateur players (Kai, Dwight Ramos, Tamayo, Baltazar, Navarro, Belangel, RJ Abarrientos) with Ange Kouame as its naturalized player (Kouame an amateur player back then), & Tab Baldwin as its coach beat a South Korea national team with Ricardo Rattlife as its naturalized player. Gilas beat the Koreans not only once but twice."A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

But I think in the Asian level, Gilas can compete without Brownlee. I remember in a window qualifier of 2023 World Cup, Gilas beat Jordan. Jordan had Dar Tucker as its naturalized player while Gilas had Ange Kouame as its naturalized player. I think Kouame's equivalent player in terms of skills & quality is somewhat that of an AJ Edu. Both players not really high scorers but are effective role players.

I don’t think so, RHJ was limited last asian games due to our team defense.. aside from Newsome, he had to deal with Oftana, Scottie, JB and with help side defense of Kouame.. that’s huge… Ginebra doesn’t have Kouame type of player to help to defend RHJ… RHJ and Newsome faced off this conference and RHJ had easy dub against Meralco… it was just a team defense that limit RHJ…

I think there are some shortage of quality Young Local (Gilas Eligible Bigs) in Pba.
34+ yrs old Junmar, Japeth, Ian, Almazan, Erram are still the best Local Eligible Bigs?
Where are other young bigs?
We have some Fil Foreign Bigs that will be in the draft, and just starting in pba. But most of them are gilas ineligible.
I think the only Good Local Young Bigs are
Justin Baltazar and Justin Ara

Metrowalk viewed as a possible location for the planned PBA Arena.
Singson controls the Metrowalk Commercial Complex, and it could be a suitable venue for PBA's own arena
THE PBA is looking at a piece of the ‘Payanig sa Pasig’ property or where the Metrowalk Commercial Complex stands as a possible location for its own arena.
Commissioner Willie Marcial and former Ilocos Sur governor Chavit Singson had preliminary discussions about the league’s plan for its own arena during Game One of the Governors’ Cup finals between TNT and Barangay Ginebra at the Ynares Center last Sunday where Singson was present, a source said.
Singson, through the LCS Group, controls the Metrowalk property located at the general vicinity of Ortigas Avenue and Meralco Avenue in Pasig City. It was once the site of the ‘Payanig sa Pasig’ amusement park that became a popular attraction during the 1990s.
According to a report by Esquire, Singson, through his BLEMP Commercial Philippines Inc., is claiming ownership of the entire 18.5 hectares of the ‘Payanig sa Pasig’ lot which includes the Metrowalk property.
Singson said last April that his company plans to redevelop the area into a ‘new city’. One of the stations of the Metro Manila Subway that is now being constructed will also be located in the area.
The PBA’s dream to build an arena it can call its own was revived after their planning session prior to the 49th season.

Then again, it's near a MM Subway stop so that's good. One thing I hated about watching games in MOA is the traffic otw to Pasay. Not sure how is it now but when I last watched a game in 2013, I really hated my commute from Imus to Pasay.
