This is a rematch between Brownlee and RHJ
But I think teams are some difference in terms of roster right?
TNT basically replaced Mikey Williams by Nambatac
Ginebra basically replaced Pringle and Cstand by Holt and RJ.
Well deserved win by TNT.
Ginebra needs to bounce back.
Ralph Cu is the only bright spot for them.
Holt have some bad stretches and also good stretches.
And Yeah TNT is a very strong team with RHJ.

Couple that with Chot using actual small ball, using RHJ at the 4, which hasn't changed.

Honestly, do you think RHJ is a better player than Brownlee???
I think he really is

Only Two Imports I remembered got the better of him
TNT's Terrence Jones and SMB's Boatwright
And now RHJ
Idk. Maybe there is some common denominator between the 3.

RHJ is better than JB, at this stage of JB's career.
But,
The pre-pandemic Justin Brownlee (2016-2019) clears RHJ any given day. The kind of Justin Brownlee we are seeing today is just like Pacquiao dominating in welterweight when he can stay as an untouchable in featherweight-lightweight and retire as the GOAT. Weird analogy but yeah lol. This is not JB's prime anymore, but the magic will always be there, of course.

I don't understand why some posters here are surprised at how well RHJ matches up against Brownlee. Have you all forgotten that RHJ was the first import to beat Brownlee in the Governor's Cup Finals just last year?
Anyway, I love Brownlee because of what he's done for Gilas but it looks like he's really showing his age against RHJ who is in his prime right now. It looks like Ginebra is missing Stanhardinger as TNT didn't have an answer for him in the Finals last year.
