I just hope that Northport's good showing in the PBA won't be shortlived. I just hope that it's current roster, especially its core, would remain intact for years.

I hope my favorite team Converge makes it to the semis.

like everybody here I seldom watch PBA games nowadays esp. the first games and during weekdays.

good thing there is PBA recap as an option.

anyway, it seems that issues about Dave Ildefonso, the Farm Thing brouhaha and the Royal Rumble moments of their Team Manager

are overshadowed by the impressive run of the Batang Pier.

Arvin Tolentino, Joshua Munzon and Will Navarro deserves to be in the storyline for a possible all-pro SEA Games bound RP Team.

32 yr. old 6'9 Kadeem Jack the former team captain of Rutgers Scarlet Knights and journeyman is a perfect import for the squad.

humors of trading those 3 locals to SMB camp because they are already ripe for the picking is very much unacceptable and pathetic

to the integrity of the league.

the way Terrafirma is doing its transactions in the PBA.

With Northport's win, Arvin Tolentino had a vice-grip hold for the BPOC award. He has a considerable lead over Calvin OFtana and Jordan HEading, currently the Groups and Uncategorized Groups ranked players in the Stats RAce.

Happy to see Northport making it to the semis. Arvin Tolentino & Will Navarro played big in that crucial game last night with guys like Bulanadi & Evan Nelle also contributing. It's safe to say that Northport is Arvin Tolentino's team. How he plays determines how far his team goes, hence this Northport's stint in the semis would be a big test for Arvin of how he responds to the challenge.

I saw the highlights. It seems the supporting cast contributed today for NP.

LOL felt like players on both sides bet on their own team losing.

Looks like Northport has this with Ratliffe and Abueva in foul trouble.

Northport uncorked a 36-21 run in the third quarter and erasing a 14-point deficit at halftime.

Its a weird game. The referees decided the game.

Anybody saw the game? Really weird that the ROS import fouled out. I think they have to fix landing fouls. Some jump shooters jump forward. Their landing spot should be protected. But the 2 calls in these game, Diallo and Stockton basically jumped straight up but stuck one foot out on landing. It is a gray area though. If you allow this you might go back to shooters hurting their ankles on landing like what happened to KQ.

Nice win by Converge vs. ROS. The league's best guard trio - Stockton, Heading & Winston, very much a factor last night.

Charles has done wonders for Converge. I dont think Pinesa has any illusions with his coaching acumen. Even in MPBL he has a guy who does X and Os. This just represents his influence with the team not really coaching per se. Remember the PBA prevented him from sitting in the PBA Board.
