Will it beat Perapirpa in the art of tanking?
At least karamihan ng talo ng Phoenix are close games or respectable loses. On the other hand, most of the loses of Perapirma are one-sided ones.

Well, in case Perapirma beats Phoenix for the No. 1 pick (most like it's going to be Millora-Brown) in next year's rookie draft, there is still Mike Philipps as the possible No. 2 pick, which of course is another blue chip rookie who can make an impact in the league right in his rookie year.

Or Terrafirma tanking because SMC might land DJ Fenner or Remy Martin? Maybe the former is possible.. there are rumors that Fenner will likely join PBA draft next year...

History has proven that Smc would rather let someone like Dave Ildefonso not play for them rather than trade him to a competitor (hence a pissed Danny I).

It's nothing different from its longtime practice of hoarding players so other teams can't utilize these players against em.

Is Dave really that good that SMC is afraid for? If I were Northport, I will trade him for future picks.. This is one of the reason why other young prospects afraid to join PBA draft because of this... Northport is so stubborn if they kill Dave's basketball career... I remember Japeth's rookie year, he doesn't want to play for burger king but the team didn't hold him.. They let him go in exchange for future picks...

I feel for Danny I that his kid is being affected by his issues with SMC. He is not handling it the best but I understand it.

Actually Northport doesn't need Dave.. they still have Munzon and Tolentino in his spot.. I surprised that they pick him (unless they pick him because the original plan is to trade Tolentino back to any SMC teams).. they badly need a big man or atleast forward.. I suppose that they will pick either Policarpio or Tiongson...

Based on his performance in the KBL, Dave Ildefonso is not really a quality or a marque player. He's no Dwight Ramos nor a Rhenz Abando or a Jordan Heading. He's expected to be just an averaged player in the PBA.

I'm not sure if QMB is an eventual basketball lifer (will play basketball for a long time). He's a very serious and high-achieving student. He might be like a Chris Tiu who plays a few years and then move on to other things. I feel like he's trying to make as much money as possible early and trying to network globally and then probably do a start up company.

He has an engineering degree and is on record saying he wants to do something about climate change.

unfortunate for RoS, Ginebra's talent just came out in the 4th quarter. But Nards Pinto was instrumental for bringing them back. I think he deserves more minutes and maybe a bit less for Thompson.
