but a Tio, Perkins and QMB trio seems interesting. Mocon is really underperforming though.
He will be 35 years old after that 2-yr contract, still serviceable at PBA level IMO. I don't think he will be the same player he is right now in the BLeague by that time so an extension might be unlikely.

Leading Phoenix to a championship before retiring seems a good conclusion to his career.

Hmmmm you might be right, we will see. and Wright has been very vocal about returning to Phoenix Fuel once his B League stint is up.

Pringle is sure, because he is already serving more than 7 years of playing in the PBA.. Cstand not yet, he is not yet completed his 7 years (or 21 conferences) playing in the PBA.. he will be only RFA, just like Mikey Williams.. Terrafirma will hold his rights if Cstand goes overseas...

They should.. their weakness is big man and QMB is a huge boost for them.. even guys like DJ Fenner or Remy Martin joins next year's draft, Phoenix should tap QMB whatever happens.. the problem is terrafirma is also tanking.. who among Dyip and Phoenix will gain the top pick next year?

Yes, he bring a low ranked team like Blackwater into a mid tier team is already a legit.. Blackwater w/o King is same as Dyip.. Always a bottom feeder..

That lineup is genuinely atrocious bar ofc guys like. arana, schonny and stockton. Bunch of midgets that cant even play defense. As ive said before most of these guys are very very lucky to be still playing in the PBA.

Also re Mocon, i think its just a salary dump. If he got the bag post RoS then i can imagine cost cutting Phoenix would want smarter investments.

                    • Northport team governor Eric Arejola vs. Danny I.

NorthPort team governor Erick Arejola and Converge assistant coach Danny Ildefonso had a heated exchange during the customary postgame handshake

Based on videos and eyewitnesses, Arejola and Ildefonso said some words at each other before cooler heads intervened.

History has proven that Smc would rather let someone like Dave Ildefonso not play for them rather than trade him to a competitor (hence a pissed Danny I).

It's nothing different from its longtime practice of hoarding players so other teams can't utilize these players against em.

Will it beat Perapirpa in the art of tanking?
At least karamihan ng talo ng Phoenix are close games or respectable loses. On the other hand, most of the loses of Perapirma are one-sided ones.

Well, in case Perapirma beats Phoenix for the No. 1 pick (most like it's going to be Millora-Brown) in next year's rookie draft, there is still Mike Philipps as the possible No. 2 pick, which of course is another blue chip rookie who can make an impact in the league right in his rookie year.
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

The league separating them into 2 groups might be interesting for lottery odds IF they continue this for the Coms Cup and Philippine Cup. how will they know if who's going to be the top pick?
