For real, Converge is slowly becoming a superteam. The core of Arana, Baltazar, Winston and Stockton even without the injured Heading can compete with San Miguel, Ginebra, Magnolia, Meralco and TNT. They have a good mix of size, speed, athleticism, shooting, defense, offense and their top big men have arguably the highest iq aside from Junemar Fajardo.

Legit question, has UCI field any pro ta before? Or even colleagiate?

If you consider MPBL as Pro league then yes. They fielded 2 teams. Bacolod and Zamboanga

they fielded also a team in the PBA 3x3.

NGL, I don't mind those farm teams existing anymore as long as the new teams entering the league are competitive.

Having 15-20 teams in the PBA would help the league generate views again. Terrafirma and Blackwater can do all they want and give their star players to SMC and MVP, but it won't be easy to win a championship anymore if the new teams are competitive.

Getting all those star players from farm teams doesn't translate to immediate success anymore. If anything, it backfired on Ginebra and SMB.

They need Mikey or Barefield more than Rosser.. TNT line up is full of "Robins", they need a "Batman" to lift this team.. Quite disappointed on Oftana.. he was supposed to be the "Go to guy" for TNT but he is contended to be a role player..

The Valientes lately have been active in competing in various local and international tournaments beginning in 2023 in the ASEAN Basketball League that saw the team tapped former NBA champion Mario Chalmers as import.

During last year’s grand finals of The Asian Tournament, the Valientes were reinforced by four-time NBA All-Star and Olympic gold medalist DeMarcus Cousins as they went their way to win the championship.

Early this year, the team competed as one of two Filipino entries in the 34th Dubai International Basketball Tournament and later, bagged the title in the 3^rd Gov. TNT has signed RHJ into a 1! year "exclusive" contract.

As per spin.ph article, RHJ will be paid a monthly salary and will be expected to 'rest' in the times that he is not playing for TNT.

im guessing there is an out clause to play for Jordan NT? even NBA let their players join their respective NTs. i wonder what Jordan will do if TNT prevents RHJ from reppin?
