    • if thats true then why allow SMB and Magnolia to be eliminated. Thats wasted revenue and RSA is in record saying they spend too much on their PBA teams

Khobuntin is dispensable.. Erram can stay, but by the way, he can't be a UFA, since he was 2013 rookie batch, the UFA starts 2014.. so he has no leverage...

Who knows? That is still RHJ's team by the way.. as long he's there, they still have a chance... Nothing assured Malonzo, Gray or Holt can contain him 1 on 1, not even Brownlee...

              • This Northport team is a fraud.. I don't know how they get that top seed this conference? I know Ginebra is heavily favored here this series but I didn't expect Northport doing nothing this series, there is no intensity both ends on the court, they don't fight for lose balls, they still think this is Elimination round.. No wonder why many think negative in this series.. I hope SGA should buy this team.. if they want to invest in the PBA, buy the franchise of Northport, maybe if they are the ones who handled this team, maybe this core of Tolentino, Munzon and Navarro will grow more...

They were a call away from Long Hair. No need to overthink what happened with them.

There is no way a team who dominated all throughout the season will be swept by a team who coincidentally, known for getting their best players through absurd trades.

This NP team apparently has the BPC frontrunner as their star by the way.

You mean Arvin who used to play for the Gins? Nobody was really expecting NP to go all the way especially with this match up. It's just unthinkable. They have a few useful pieces that could end up with Ginebra again though including Arvin.

Erram has been exposed by the challenge rule, he always got away with his antics. Even Chot doesn't acknowledge him anymore when he appeals, thats why he struggles on the FIBA games

So why did SMB and Magnolia did not get eliminated. What the rational?

Yeah stop it, you already said that long time ago. You a Gin fans by the looks of it so any explanation won't satisfies you. Hell, you are even being a white knight to CTC's failure on the other thread right now.

Also the Magnolia and SMB are out of the picture right now, the series is being focused on Gin and NP.

I think the FIBA break spoiled whatever momentum ROS and Northport gained. While for Ginebra Gilas players are still warm and in rhythm.

ROS got a break with injury to TNT’s Castro.

The winless and top seed Northport have no excuse to lose this way in the semis. It only adds fuel to the rumor. They should have made it more interesting.

But hey Ginebra is being handled by one of the best coaches in Philippine basketball history. Tim Cone > Bonnie Tan.

what's wrong in asking a logical reason if SMC is controlling everything in PBA. Then what is their logic of allowing Ginebra to progress while two other teams weren't. Just a logical and critical thinking question. It's better to think that just accepts some people version of reality. That just lazy in my opinion.

If it logical I will accept it. Magnolia and SMB are out of the picture doesn't neglect your comment on why accused without proof that Top teams control the outcome of the actual game itself. Not the trades but actual play in court.

If you really look at my past chats. I said it before and I will say it again, I don't think triangle offense will work against a team that is able to switch on all ball screen like NZ, Brazil or even CT (as long as their outside shooting is good). As triangle looks for mismatches or create situation for offense to attract double teams. Like how Jordan goes to low post to pull a double team towards him. The triangle gives good spacing for penetration and jump shooters for openings from a double team.

It works against Latvia because not all of their players are able to score by their will. So once players with advantage switches on them like Brownlee, Dwight or even Newsome (who has athleticism against some of Latvia players), out players can score. While in defence, Latvia did not have a good scoring day against us unlike NZ and CT. I been saying for a long time, TC defense is to pack the lane, prevent drives and inside scoring. Which is an issue if it's against a shooting team.
