Maybe Eastern has some more local talents making it deeper than BAD. But BAD definitely had more high end talent. Andrew Nicholson is a legit NBA alumn with a wide wingspan. Their import now has good fundamentals but isn't a guy you double team. Eastern doesn't have much of a talent lead on GSM. Actually, if CS where there I don't think Eastern would have defeated GSM. GSM is a smaller team without CS.

You don't need to be ball dominant guy especially with Eastern who has scorers already such as Lam, Cao, etc... McLaughlin make hard of any opponents driving to the lane, the thing that Nicholson can't do... Yes, it's hard to lose Cstand but who to blame why they lose Cstand by the way? That is also their reason why they lose to TNT last conference... But they have to move on right now and play whoever on this team today...

robert the one who played in bay area yang blankley and lam are the ones who backboned this team.. theres zhu zong wei, duncan reid and giant liu also. If not for the disbandment of bay area one of their additions was Ramon Cao..

As I said talent wise BAD is better but Eastern is more fluid and more cohesive.. Nicholson is more credentials but I say McLaughlin is better fit.. he doesn't need the ball just to be impactful...

Bay area mostly rely to their imports while eastern doesn't rely.. you can't see any iso ball here.. they are patient and stick to the game plan.. and their defense was special... JB always having a havoc in scoring vs Bay Area while he's struggling to score against eastern.. It was like JB when playing against TNT.. maybe JB starting to feel father time but not this struggles yesterday... Give credit to eastern especially on defense... That loss against ROS was fluke... If they met again, I'm sure Eastern will demolish ROS...

They werent complete vs RoS. Glen Yang has passport issues.

Looking like Troy Rosario is having minimal impact in Ginebra so far. And when Malonzo comes back I think he will be Aguilar's back up even in the All Filipino conference and will see even fewer minutes.

The trio of Alec Stockton, Schonny Winston & Jordan Heading at Converge is starting to become the best backcourt trio in the PBA at present.

Too bad Converge lost to the now very hot Northport team. The 3 aforementioned players all played very well in that game.
