This is too much of an advantage. A compromise would be to allow a second Asian heritage import along with NPs.

For me, allow naturalized players in the PBA but they are still classified as such. In lieu of naturalized players, teams can sign foreign student-athletes or Asian players. There should be only one slot available for the naturalized player, foreign student-athlete and Asian import. Getting one excludes the other two.Attack

Its going to be hard to implement for naturalized players to be able to play in the PBA. Right off the bat the main issue is how can they be integrated into the league. Do you make them go through the draft and if so I think it would hurt Gilas because Brownlee at Ginebra and with Tim Cone certainly helps in maintaining their familiarity and chemistry. Or do you make them as direct hires and if so that would be unfair for the rest of the league since the already stacked corporate teams always win the bidding wars.お元気ですか?

Direct hiring is not new to the PBA and we all know what happened.
and it's an onion on the part of the league because the storyline at that time is strictly within the backyard of the league
and not beyond of it, if only they include in the narrative about Philippine National Team and the advent of Basketball without borders and globalization at that time
maybe issues like that should already been resolve...
lack of foresight, being insulares minded, allergic to innovations really takes it's toll on those old timers.
now fast forward, the PBA are now gradually opening up it's jurassic gates,
they are now pro-active in the National team, inviting foreign club team for the past two seasons to play like Bay Area and Eastern,
actively participating in the EASL tourney among others.
so as a fan and observer, it seems that the trajectory of the league are now gradually towards globalization
because that's really the paradigm nowadays and sadly, the Grandpa are not totally(?) warm to embrace it
that is why the league was way beyond the paradigm compared to it's Asian counterpart like the B. League among others.
for it's 50th Season they should really adapt some changes and innovations to cope up with the international standard
the so-called "New World Order of Global Basketball".
they should really cast out that so-called "Grandpa Attitude" if they really want the league to be relevant to the international basketball community.

The parity with these scenario will not suffer a lot and it will give opportunity for FSA's to show their worth. Also, having 2 imports per team will lead to expansion as a remedy for dislodging Pinoys of their playing time. This is the answer for Chua's remark of Panu n makakalaro Pinoy kung puro Imports""failure is not the end but just the beginning of a victorious journey..just keep on dreaming and we will be back on the olympics''''

FSA like Malick Diouf will team up with Unlimited height WI.
