Kinda happy with Northport's impressive start in the ongoing PBA Commissioner's Cup with a 3-0 win-loss record. Arvin Tolentino has finally found a home in the PBA & is obviously the team's franchise player. Then he has a good supporting cast in Josh Munzon, Will Navarro, Cade Flores, Onwubere, etc. Everything looks good so far.
But then, reality strikes - Northport is a farm team of the mighty SMC group. It might not take long before these good players would one by one leave Northport & end up playing for SMC teams Ginebra or SMB or Magnolia. At yung matirang players nalang sa Northport eh yung mga below averaged ones & yung mga palaos na players.
And Northport would once again suck!!!
