    • Northport's switching defense so far early in this conference is pretty impressive.

      • Robert Bolick is the man

        • Bolick is starting to learn to balance his scoring & facilitating skills. Besides Navarro, he's one of the few PBA players who I hope is given another chance to be part of Gilas

          • Kinda happy with Northport's impressive start in the ongoing PBA Commissioner's Cup with a 3-0 win-loss record. Arvin Tolentino has finally found a home in the PBA & is obviously the team's franchise player. Then he has a good supporting cast in Josh Munzon, Will Navarro, Cade Flores, Onwubere, etc. Everything looks good so far.

But then, reality strikes - Northport is a farm team of the mighty SMC group. It might not take long before these good players would one by one leave Northport & end up playing for SMC teams Ginebra or SMB or Magnolia. At yung matirang players nalang sa Northport eh yung mga below averaged ones & yung mga palaos na players.

And Northport would once again suck!!!

I just hope Northport management proves me wrong.
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

No trust on them... Blackwater have 4-0 start last season but after that they started losing games in the end... They were lucky that TNT is not on their form after championship and Magnolia is on struggling phase...

                • Chris McLaughlin will play vs. Blackwater replacing Cameron Clark due to a hip injury.

                  • eastern significantly weaker with McLaughlin

                    • Why is Jeff being a disciple of TC has no ball movement and all one on one plays? Only King is capable of doing that. He probably should start making plays similar to triangle offense.

Better and also they should buy Dyip or Blackwater franchise... To lessen those farm teams...

Because Pineda is taking over? Afaik SGA and Pineda have a good working relationship. I don’t think Pineda is a good coach. We’ll see if he gets his guy at the Lanterns team or he gets another consultant.

This is probably the result when you have multiple billionaries handling the team. Magsasapawan sila
