Are Pasinos and Dulin still age-eligible for this age group? Both are 6'5 athletic forwards from FEU-D U16 team together with Carino.

15 yr. old kids like 6'3 Kainoa Patton and 6'4 Jordan Mize may somehow be included for that propose U16 pool for next year.

I just wondering if 13 yr old kids like Ajani Jones, Braedan Gupilan-Holt and Isaiah Wright had a chance to be included in the pool as well.

If yes then I believe next year's U16 team is even more formidable than this year's line-up. If all bodes well, we'll have guys like Carino, Yap, Reyes, Pasinos, Dulin, Pascual and heck, even fil-ams like Kainoa Patton and Jordan Mize (assuming SBP doesn't slack off recruiting these guys).

You can also add the entire UAAP Junior HS Mythical Team, Tim Matias, Lawrence Cinco, 5'10 Alfonso Tan, Shaun Lucido and maybe even 6'0 Ken Atienza (December 2007) to the pool. Don't forget 6'0 Rob Celis (NU), 6'3 Ziv Espinas (Ateneo), 5'11 Thirdy Sy (UST) clutch shooter 6'1 JB Cagurungan (FEU) and 6'10 Owen Calanasan (Ateneo) to the list.

Owen won't be eligible as he is born 2008, the born 2009 players will be the eligible ones for next year. His chance to get a youth team experience would be 2026 FIBA U18 which would be for 2008 born players.

I watched the MPBL UNDER 14 between Manila and Antipolo and I'm surprised Emman Simple played for Antipolo under 14 team...He played good against the older players (FYI he's only 12 years old and 6'3). He's fundamental very good. I can't wait to see him play for Gilas under 16 in 2-3 years

Jordan Mize looks impressive. Very fluid and has long reach perfect at 3 for BG U16 next year.

Ah, if Owen (October 2008) is not eligible then the likes of Pasinos (November, 2008) and Dulin (March 2008) are also out. 6'2 JA Teodoro is one of the best players in the 2009 age group.

Please chill out on the kids. Overhyping is one of the plagues of Philippine basketball.

                        Sir Al,

just turning 15 this year is just perfect for next year alongside Kanoa Patton.

developing his skill sets ala Jayson Tatum are fine for me if the buzz are also true that Uncle Sam had an eye(s) on the lad.

Sir Metta already confirmed it's legit hoping his good group may somehow assist his pinay mother in facilitating those docs considering it is within their backyard in Cali.

I totally agree on Sir Sikatrix let those lad enjoy the ride and avoid being (over)hype.

Junior MPBL Season 2Rizal Switch Fiber VS Quezon City 828 Junior Giants | 16UVenue: University of Perpetual Help, Las Piñas

Patrick Pasinos is playing for Quezon City 16u MPBL juniors. He looks like 6'5/6'6 in height already and very versatile.

6'3 PG Kenji Moral is now with Quezon City too.

Both Pasinos & Moral are promising. It seems Pasinos is more of a facing-the-basket type of a big man with good mobility & athleticism. On the other hand Moral is the type of a player we should seriously be developing. Imagine 6-foot-2/6-foot-3 natural point guard & he's only 16 yrs of age. If he grows up to 6-foot-4 & continues to play as a point guard, then I think he will have a good future.

I think this Jr. MPBL could be the league's biggest contribution to Philippine basketball.
