If he grows up to 6-foot-4 & continues to play as a point guard, then I think he will have a good future.

Pasinos can hit the 3 pointer too like in the game

I watched the video for a bit. Pasinos is the obvious athlete. But, in terms of eventual height, I think Pena of QC (their chunky forward) has a bit of growth spurt remaining. He looks much younger and is nimble and has a touch for his weight. Based on eye test, Pasinos might almost be done growing. The big of Rizal (29) also looks young and looks like he will become the tallest among all of them and he's not slow for his size.

Overall though, Moral has a very high upside. You could tell he's been training the longest and has great size for a lead guard.

Although it has negative connotations, this is where "super teams" can be beneficial. We have so many players in the country that results in dilution of teams. Regional super teams (like how Delta does it in Pampanga) enables teams to have "higher level" size per position. Super teams are a way of solving our problem of having 6'2 centers, and they need to form at younger ages. Then have these super teams regularly battle each other growing up.

Either this or, guys like Moral and Pasinos needs to be playing up a couple of age-levels higher (Pena looks like he's playing up). Pasinos playing up and being forced to play as a wing will do wonders for his future.

Sounds like prep schools\academies for sports. This is the benefit of development in other countries where kids can afford to attend these schools

If our version of it becomes regional, then the "Delta model" of Pampanga is something that will be feasible. I think there's more willing local politicians with deep pockets who would like this.

Only problem I could see with this is politicians becoming players agents rather than strictly funding sports development.

The Delta Model is good, but it should not include the "indentured servitude" part. A player should not be obligated to serve unconditionally and not be under the politician's / benefactor's total control.

At the end of the day, training and development takes money and time. Those who provide it will have their reasons/motives. It happens everywhere else, in the US it's the sneaker companies and in Europe it's the Basketball Clubs. But for them, it's purely business.

Kids from humble means is susceptible to being tied up in "utang na loob" especially if they were groomed from scratch. Hopefully, more altruistic benefactors/mentors come into the fold. Lebron was initially trained by his friend's dad who was a coach looking for underprivileged kids with potential. He wanted to form a super team along with his son.

Is Delta Pineda also developing kids with good potential from other provinces, or puros taga pampanga lang?

I like the idea of "super teams enabling to have higher level size per position". This should be always the norm for all teams.. This principle though has to start from our national teams including the youth teams as these are considered "super teams" and a selection of the best. I didn't find it good for development when a former coach was advocating small ball (literally small) where a barely 6 foot player is playing the SF position. The U18 women's team has a young Tiff Reyes who plays as a wing. This should be a good chance to further develop her skills as a wing. Alas, she is being played as a big. Principle like this should start from National teams and should be a model for emulation from regional teams.

Good! Kenji Moral (16 yrs old) is already playing for the Pampanga U19. This will be a good training for him just like Luka Doncic in his teenage years,
