So basically, the NGBL tournament that Long Hair and LA established was for LA, as head coach of Batang Gilas, to scout talent further? I guess this was planned a long time ago.

They gonna have probably have a tall lineup for this team,imagine having a 6'10 and a 7'0 in the middle,I hope the rest of the team will be tall and talented.I would like to see them in the finals against Australia.

Actually, I like that they are installing a person under Tim Cone. LA understands the triangle alot. Since these youth players will, one day, take spots in the senior's team, might as well learn the system of the team as early as the youth program.

Hopefully, LA will be able to identify taller players since triangle offense will not be that effective without a legit bigman and a tall wing scorer.

It's also time to have more combo guards than just plain pg,make everyone an analytical player,shoot when you have the ball,don't hesitate.I wanna see more Dwight size combo or plain hot shooting SG,a 6'5 athletic SG will be a good matchup in FIBA.

An upcoming league by the SBP is coming next year that will be sort of a tryout/talent identification for local based players. LA and Alfrancis on the move.
