Interesting to see Cagulangan’s +/- this game knowing how Lofton had a picnic against this second unit with Blatche unable to protect the rim. I still don’t understand how Heading can stay infront of him and KQ was willing to bang bodies with him. There were even a few plays when Roberson was pushing Cagulangan to Lofton as if to say “battle this n*****”Comment

This game was too physical than what it should have been. In the end, Homenetmen engaged SGA in a shootout at a time when Blatche was heating up. 104-95 SGA wins again.Comment

He’s clearly a two that brings the ball down as opposed to a playmaker that spots up. Defensively, he was on Lofton. The ones calling the plays were either Roberson, Moore, or the bench. Heading did have 11 assists on simple pick and pops to Blatche and entry passes to Howard. Not a PG in a Scottie Thompson sense but more of a Leo Austria for those who remember how he was as a player or even MBA-era Stephen Padilla. I can’t think of two’s who can do PG duties in the PBA. Heading is good. His game is deceptive. He doesnt look fast or athletic. He doesnt have fancy handles. But he has good fundamentals and good effort. He tries to do the right play on offense or defense. He is an SG. But he has decent defense. His handles are good enough for him to bring up the ball.Originally posted by paolylo View PostComment
