Anyway interesting matchup against csb, in their last game, both teams exchanged runs throughout the game and dlsu ended up winning only by 1 after double ot.

Aside from Bismark Lina and Ronrei Tolentino, RC Calimag is also injured. Those who got thrown out vs EAC were Celzo, Etulle, Sajonia, Richi Calimag for throwing punches and Hawkins for leaving the bench. EAC had 10 or 11 guys ejected.

Your CSB has got a head start already by playing in the PSL couple months back and now in PinoyLiga. While SBU started only in the PBA DLeague recently tapos mababa pa level ng competition.

RL's coaching staff did a solid job controlling their players it couldve easily been equal amount of guys thrown out if they didnt step in. Its just funny eac supporters were pointing out why those guys in red and dark pants had to butt in, its like saying they only want players to rumble inside the court lmao hahaha

Actually, they never stopped training even after the 3rd place game, tas may game na agad sa pinoyliga the same month. They only had a week long break for christmas and new year and by jan 3 or 4 they were back already. Coach charles really wanted to make sure everyone's on the same page as early as then, continue to work on the chemistry and master the sets and system.

As i've said, these guys are a different breed of blazers, much more hungrier and inspired than the previous batch, they want to get better everytime they step foot on the court, they wont just back down to anyone especially with the physicality and they want to win everything that they can so now so that mentality would stick by the time season 100 comes.

Personally, I'd like to say that ncaa is producing solid international pros lately, Gutang, Abando(even only being a one and done, being with letran exposed him to the international scouts) and Oczon. Guys like escamis and cortez(if he stayed put with beda) would have probably joined them there in had they turned pro early. I'm sure more would join them after season 100 as int scouts seem to watch ncaa too nowadays. Couple of ncaa teams are getting solid funding nowadays too so the level of training and coaching are getting there. Only problem is there's still no FSAs.

With the way CSB has been spending, I wouldn't be surprised if they produce more international prospects, add to that the training the players get from Coach Rajko.

But because of the lack of FSAs, guys like Tamayo, KQ, Amos, etc will be hard to develop in the NCAA. Now, it's only guards and a few wings that's still getting appropriate experience.

The lack of FSA's is the biggest thing, e. It saves mobile bigs or natural fours like Carl, Quiambao, Mason, Daep, Borja, Gozum, Andrada, and Liwag, and has them play more PF. Without a big FSA, they'll play full-time 5. And with how physical center play is in any league other than the NBA, they'll have to sacrifice mobility for strength, and doesn't .

Pero as for wings, Benilde play "tall" small ball with wings like Corteza and Sangco (a point forward) at 4, and then Beda with Puno at that spot at times, so at least they prepare their guys to play smaller positions at higher levels.

AFAIK There are only 3 remaining atthletic scholarships reserved for incoming bigs. Maybe the management can work something out If TJ Latu is exceptionally good. But RL made a pass on NCAA ready Mac Book.i don't think guards are the priority for the last slots.

Another 2 games in 1 day for csb on saturday. Championship game for pinoyliga against dlsu by 11:30 am and quarterfinal game for psl against san juan(who's twice to beat) by 8 pm. Wonder how charles tiu will use their guys knowing both are must win games.

Who played for EAC? No doubt ust has some solid recruits for next season, but having trouble against ncaa teams who don't have an fsa is kinda alarming. I mean eac don't even have a solid big right now. And they were even defeated twice by csb in pinoyliga. Sure cabanero prolly isnt playing but its the coaching staff and pido that needs to step up now.

Yup their fsa can be improved upon but hey having one atleast is better than not having at all like last year. If pido goes, who's gonna replace him?

There were rumors of Juno taking over but for now are just rumors.

Mahmood practiced na but only for one time only. The fil can nation select team is playing today in the semis for the Manila live tournament.
