    • Wonder what will happen as thats a do or die game with both teams tied, with only a minute left in the 3rd. There's another game pa later with csb and mapua, also a do or die. Game as of the moment has stalled.

I have the screen recorded, a cut copy, 50 secs long kaya lang don't think i can post it here hahaha

After studying the clip, looks like pagsanjan initiated it, then calimag retaliated with an elbow, then all hell broke loose

i could see lucero superman punching richi, which also almost hit coach andre santos, later on you could still see lucero going at it with coach andre. Dude's hella talented but he ain't for the hardwood courts. He's for the streets lmao

Letran offers engineering degrees. paulo pe and jet manuel are the only student athletes i remember that passed the engineering boards

I stand corrected, thanks for the info. Pero yeah even in other sports rarely do they take engineering courses.

Maybe he just doesnt like letran, not exactly known for its engineering program. Plus, boosters of course

there's a reason why UP lumped most of its athletes at CHK while UST's IPEA offers degrees. Science degrees (nat sci, med, tech) are too demanding in terms of coursework

Yup same with ateneo where they have BS-IS. Tho during my time in ust, i see lots mbt players in their commerce unis, some in AB.

That elbow in the face is a f*ck around and find out moment for Pagsanjan. Yung Lucero naman parang sinaniban ng espiritu ni amores.. Hahaha. Season 100 just got a little bit spicier.

Yup, poor management by the entire coaching staff of EAC. How could they let 2 bench guys join in, costed them some more guys who prolly just went there to play peacekeepers.

And with csb winning in the 2nd game, both wil advance in the semis. Ust v Csb and Dlsu v SBu. All teams came from the same group, csb won by 1 against ust. Dlsu won against sbu, who's prolly gonna miss the services of those 5 guys that got thrown out.

Oh definetely, you know what's funny, coach jerson and his boys seem to like playing rough along the lines, yet when someone pushes back, or the refs call the game as it is, they get hot. They should learn to play more disciplined and not waste coach jerson's system. Acting like the season 99 jru heavybombers won't win them any rings.

                          • There was also a brawl 1-2 weeks ago in UCAL formerly UCBL between PCU and DILIMAN COLLEGE. No suspensions given whatsoever. I think they just let it go. No clear video perhaps to come up with suspensions? Brawls are becoming more common in collegiate leagues. Who is the governing body of colleguate leagues? GAB? CHED?

Prolly because that game was over and done with, and if they imposed suspensions, it would prolly involved multiple players from both teams that may lead both teams to default? I dunno how would they settle it since the next game is already a do or die for both teams.

As for the governing body, its neither. GAB only involves pro basketball, while CHED isnt responsible for sports or any intramural events by schools. Maybe SBP? But even them don't have the authority to intervene. I remembered after the amores fiasco, they only released press statement comdemning amores' actions. This would prolly fall on the schools involved and the league itself to mete out proper sanctions. In the case of pinoyliga, expect suspensions to be handled out to beda. They're strict as it can be since ive seen a couple csb blazers that got thrown out in recent games there, be suspended in their next games. As for EAC, imo not sure since they're already eliminated, maybe they would carry over it in the next tourney, the collegiate cup, if EAC joins(which again im not sure).

edit: Lets noT forget the free for all of mapua jrs/team b(not sure) against olivares college in another league. Involved pa dyan si coach yong garcia. Don't think suspensions were handled out as well

Prior to that, PCU also got into to trouble against a Thai school a couple of months ago where one of their player punched his man and ran towards their bench Lol.
