I remember a sequence where he went coast to coast and made a perfect no look assist and then hit a three on the next play. The tools are there and rare in the country with his length. Just got to get with the mental part.
He's gonna get his chance this season. Actually last offseason, he already being featured kaya lang when season 99 came, he injured his shooting shoulder and that took away some of his confidence. So this year im expecting him to take it up a notch simce yeah o agree with you he has the tools, now the body, but yeah just need the confidence.

Good thing for him, csb loves to give opportunites to their players and going to season 100, there arent alot of guys in his position and being one of the key returnees, he's expected to have a role.

But realistically he’ll be a 4 together with Eusebio and Sangco. But all are interchangeable because of their versatility.

The 5 will be Liwag, Mara and Turco.
I'd have to disagree, at this point Oli is still getting used to the philippine brand of basketball, especially the physicality and gulang. He should have a role as the 3pt specialist but a starting lineup that has a backourt of either ynot, cajucom, torres or cometa, who are all shooters, not to mention sanchez, eusebio and sangco(who's improved his outside shot) can also shoot outside. He wont need to be in the starting lineup. He should be better coming off the bench to provide spark. I'd rather have a better defenfer in Ondoa or jarque due to size and reach at this point, not to mention makoy marcos is expected to have a big role being the team's best defender last year and one of the graduating seniors.

For the 5, after liwag and the improved turco, its still open season. Mara is redeeming himself after a slow offseason start, Arciaga is still providing quality minutes, but guys like mowell morales and edson serrano have also improved. Especially serrano, really happy with his progress since in season 98 he was barely playable, now he's a better defender, rebounder, even on offense, a better rim runner/finisher and passer in the paint. For morales, he recently led his nbtc team to the reginal finals, of the 4 guys he's battling with, he has the softest touch, hope he can develop as maybe into a small ball 4 or even a tall 3 since he does have the range. Its unfortunate 1 or 2 guys won't prolly make team in season 100.

A common case in the country...coaches and normies fail to see past a player's lack of strength (muscles) and confidence. Those can be improved. Meanwhile, they don't pay attention to the things you can't teach like length, fluidity, touch, feel for the game. Always preferring hinog over high-upside players.

Good for csb to be forward-looking.

Yup, that's the blueprint of how csb recruit nowadays so credit to coach charles and the rest of the coaching staff. They get high upside guys even if their projects, they're patient enough to mold guys to reach their highest potential. Hope they keep looking for those diamonds in the rough.

This will be the first big test for Perpetual coach Olsen Racela if he can keep their top juniors player for the seniors.
Are there any rumors where will Amiel Acido play in college? If the Perps wants their core to stay, they must double their effort on persuading them to stay.

John Edry Alejandro from UE HS.

He’s an SGA boy like Diamante and Manalili.
