Imo they still need a legit big tho, and looking at who the have right now and those coming in, i don't think they have anyone that can match up against liwag/turco or lina/celzo. Umpad havent improved that much while scrappy guys like maguiliano and cosejo already graduated.
What about art cosa? Will he play this season for eac?

Mac Jacob used to be an undersized 4 with Hope Christian. Hope he gets into the lineup.

any expected recruits for CSB pa sir?
Definetly yeah kaya lang i heard once coach oliver bunyi was on his way out, he really didnt want to stay anymore. Mac Jacob looks good and with only a limited number of guys in his position, tas jerson boy pa i think he'll be in.

For csb, nothing concrete yet pero in talks already with a couple of uaap guys. Most of em we dont expect to commit agad since they still want to see what their standing is with their current teams, some are also receivibg multiple offers from other schools so for now wait and see muna. Also waiting on some jrs players as well in both uaap and the ongoing ncaa. Would be lying to if we didnt try to land roque pero longshot he doesnt follow delta to letran haha. Lastly i heard umali's trying to send fillers to ex lpu teammates if they wanna join him in csb lmao.

I remember Estil suiting up for CSB in a preseason tournament (MILCU I think) with Paul Turco prior to Season 98.

He's only 23 so he still has a couple of playing years left, depends na lang siguro on how he recovers from his injuries caused by a motorcycle accident.

Yup milcu last 2022, was supposed to spend residency with turco kaya lang only played for a handful of games and didnt pursue enrolling with the school. Same case with galman.

Amazing how CSB seems to have an unli pool. Do they accommodate and give chance to anyone who wants to transfer/commit?

Yes, they give guys tryouts and allow then to join practices for anyone interested, pero still at the end of the days its still about fit and attitude. Sometimes the player themselves realize csb is not for them and just opt not to continue.

Recent example was Umali, he was the one that sent fillers to the team and at first they were hesitant to bring him in because of his past outbursts when he was still with LPU. But once team officials had met with him, they agreed to give him a chance assuming he gives him their word that he'll 'behave'. And so far, in his first game as a blazer in pinoyliga, it showed just that. Against a Bong Dela Cruz(yup same guy who had issues before with UST) coached St Dominic College, the team saw 3 guys get ejected due to dq fouls(refs did a horrible job, but thats another story) in a highly physical blowout game, surprisingly, umali wasnt one of the guys ejected, but instead you can see him keep his cool, doing the small things needed and backing up his new teammates. So far so good for him, the hope is it stays on for him since he does seem to fit in at csb and has charles tiu full support.

Yes, I understand the tryout/practice with the team part, all teams allow that. But my question is in the quantity of their pool. It seems like they do not have a limit on the size of their pool, is that really the case? And do everyone get scholarships/benefits?

Yes they dont have a definite size for their pool as long as they fit what the team's looking for, they can join. Sga and the blazers know the landscape we have now in collegiate basketball so they're just doing due diligince just in case someone moves out. Coach charles naman and the team doesnt hold back anyone who wants to leave for any reason, wether to move to a new school(sid mosqueda and markus dimaunahan) or turn pro early(dom panlilio and jethro publico). Yes everyone gets the same scholarships and benefits(dorm priviliges, team gear and shoes etc) pero for the allowances, it will depend on their management how much they get.

Thanks, that's very interesting and just shows how committed the backers are. Add to that things like having Rajko as an advisor gives us an idea of just how much budget and how serious they are.

Having an unli pool is something not even top uaap programs can afford.

Is RJ included? Hopefully he can sign him together with the uaap jrs stud and nc player from the south of manila.
