Dungo only had dlsu on his mind as his parents wanted him to go there. Poli naman looked like on his way to the pros if he left so it seemed like letran was never an option for both.

You mean the power of persuasion from Phenom. His best and brightest ends up at DLSU. No amount of “utang na loob” could bring Dungo and Poli to Letran. Yes Delta jump started their bball careers. But it was him who nurtured them to what they are today. Both could have played for Delta in the 2022 PSL. But opted to play somewhere else, Dungo suited up for Luib One and Poli for Pasig-CocoLife.

My point is if you're a parent which degree would you rather have your son? Letran's or DLSU? Letran, even with gov delta on board looked like was never in the equation for both for various reasons. Phenom may have a hand in where their players go but i think we're overstating their influence. In fairness to them, its still up to the player in the end where they want to play for whatever reason as it should be. Utang na loob should be taboo anyways as it can be used to manipulate players. Sure I agree with you that the best of the phenom boys seem to go to dlsu but its probably because these guys are the only ones being recruited to go to la salle. Phenom has lots of guys in letran too so both could have went there anyways if they wanted to.

To add Dungo's dad is a politician in Pampanga. At the very least they are a middle class family. I dont think their decision was influenced by Phenom.

But Collin does not finishes the game. Instead it’s Ateneo De Davao transferee Kyle Jamora who closes the game at PG in the games I have seen. Collin has regained his confidence offensively.

Jamora is not as skilled as Collin. But he easily breaks the press, does not get rattled and plays better hard nosed defense than Collin.

I do hope he improves his physicality. Collin shies away from hard physical contact. Loses poise whenever being bullied by a rugged defender. He’s going to be a tall PG who can space the floor for SBU.

All 3 fil fors who visited SBU are back abroad. The kiwi is exveptionally good. He ia for the taking except TM Roque is back to his usual old snobby self. A bedan told me that he is done idealing with TM Roque and it is his last time bringing in kids for the RL
