PS: Escamis >> Estrada, this championship should end the conversation
Rosillo is probably regretting his decision to leave lol

Meanwhile kinda an OT. It is good to see that the NCAA now is gaining some sponsorships. Hope they can generate more.

Letran has a decent chance to be back in the Final Four next season, though.

      • Seniors basketball is done, when is the juniors basketball going to start?

        • Yes, rosillo is probably regretting it. He is the starting point guard, now he needs to earn his position in letran.

          • Question: Does this make Chris Hubilla right not go to UP?

              • Hubilla looks good in coach randy’s system. Undersized power forward like abueva, in up he will just be a bench guy

Championship aside, would he have played while competing with Lopez, Belmonte, Torculas, and Stevens at the 4 spot?

He's getting his opportunity here with Mapua. He just has to expand his game, because he might need to play in the perimeter more in the pros, as he's only 6'3".

                    I hope Charles stay. Lol.

His players were not motivated in the Finals. If I have to guess CSB’s motivation died after their Final Four clash against SBU. They were extremely motivated against SBU because of the backlash the ex Bedans were receiving.

Leidenfrost: Juniors play is on January from what I heard. I do hope this time the Juniors tournament would revert back to the double round robin format.

I think he gets some minutes but yeah I think the risk of going to UP would be tough for a 21 year old. UP didn't guarantee his spot which is why he left but Id definitely line him up over Walker.

CSB started the game off hot and was clicking on all cylinders. After Mapua gathered themselves, CSB lost its edge. In the 3rd quarter, they went away from the system and panicked. They started playing hero ball.

You can't expect to do that against a team as deep as Mapua and expect to win.

It reminds me a lot of Will Gozum led CSB two years ago.
I agree and as what the mapuans here have been saying, the championship experience mapua had last year came in really handy for them this year. Hope this 'learning experience' they had this season will further them next season.

So many gems in our Juniors team this year, it's not just a 1 or 2 man carrying the team now. Hoping we could make it back in the finals this season. I heard Vailoces already have a spot in Seniors Team A if he ever decides to play for the red lions.

                            • Congrats to the Mapua guys here. You earned and deserved that championship. Your players fought hard, and were solid and organized on defense.

Just tidy up the unnecessary unsportsmanlike fouls. Hahahahahahaha.

Red Cubs have been playing small ball in preseason. Coach Miko is opting for a smaller but fast line up. Vailoces is being utilized as a 4 compared to last season where he was a 3. Watch out for the athletic 6’4 Andre Ugaddan. He is the 5 whenever Red Cubs goes small ball. The guards to watch for are Juris San Juan and Lawrence Batongbakal. They are 2-way players.
