And this is purely wishful thinking...if they really want to be objective and use only stats as basis...there are many more advanced stats that they can also include. Assist-TO-ratio, +/-, effective true fg%, etc. Plain stats like total assists can be misleading if a guy commits many TOs. Same with a guy who scores a lot but with low %.
Steals and blocks are a bit more pure because if a player isn't efficient in getting those stats, he will get into foul trouble and won't play as much.Comment
