Do not worry, motivational speaker tagala will uplift the boys spirit with his powerful motivational speech and they will perform better in the final four. LMAO.

    • The 10-8 record of San Beda in Season 100 is their worst since 2005 when they finished Season 81 with a 4-10 record. Poor point guard plays, lack of chemistry, no real leader and alpha player. The Red Lions need to play a near perfect basketball in the Final 4 if they want to beat CSB. It sucks that the road to a back to back is for San Beda to beat CSB twice. Beating them even once is so much hard to do. Unlike Mapua who have a thin frontline, CSB have a good combination of bigs, wings and small. Their pg rotation alone is so much better than the REd Lions and their wings and frontline are as good or even better than the REd Lions. Let's just pray that its going to be a close game 1 and the REd Lions will make it a little bit more exciting. But i highly doubt they can beat the Blazers twice.

San Beda is still dangerous, and i hope charles tiu and coaching staff etch that into the players mind. 2-0 in the elimination round means nothing now. They still need to win one more game to advance.

Imo Lina will be the key, he was the best bedan in the court the last game and im expecting him to get lots of touches, wether attacking the interior defense or attracting multiple defenders that would close on him and that should leave some guys open. His matchup with allen liwag is good to watch, but i think lina will have the upper hand since i dont think liwag will see much rest in the games. This what beda did in round 2 and it was somehow effective. People tend to see the final score, but it was only the last few minutes that benilde was able to secure the W. It was close all throughout the game.

For benilde, key will be limiting the to's. They had a solid game in taking care of the ball committing only 6 or 7 against the last san beda game. If they are able to take care of it, i think they should have no problem going toe to toe with whoever san beda has on the floor. Im hoping ynot and cometa will be more efficient since no doubt jhomel ancheta will be a marked man now.

By the looks of it ancheta for me is the difference maker vs sbu. Puno lina andrada will cancel out liwag ynot and sanchez. I heard yuri giving instructions in the timeout to go under when ancheta has the ball to see what his tendencies. If the defender will not go under ancheta has explosive first step so lets see in game 1 on how they will defend ancheta.

Yes he was. The trust charles tiu has in him is paying off. Ancheta is probably one of the smartest guys on the court, he knows when to use his speed, especially against bigger defenders while also knowing when to pull the trigger when the defender goes under. The way he slices through the defense when attacking the basket is joy to watch as well.

            • Any update on Puno's injury? I think SBU is done if he can't play in their 1st game against csb.

                  • Baste has managed to beat San Beda at least once in their elims showdown during their rebuilding years post-Egay era. It was always 1-1 for 2023 and 2024 season.

Their full court press and traps are getting better as well. Most of the time, they are cutting at least 10 seconds from their opponent’s 24 second shot clock every time they do it. I expect it to be more suffocating once Ashon and the other wing guys of Baste’s team B gets on board next season. I expect it to be more efficient as well as they deepen their rotation next season. More fresh legs to sustain that full court press.

I also heard Baste B is currently practicing 3 times a day. I hope the coaching staff succeeds on filtering the right players that they could elevate on Baste’s team A next season. I actually think as well that that Aguilar kid deserves to retain his team A spot. Haha he just needs to better his defense. He’s so lazy on defense. Maybe losing weight could help to make his defense more agile. And I also wish for them to find at least 2 legit centers for next season. That’s the only missing piece for them next season.

its a no bearing game, also Bismarck and Nygel did not play.

A win is a win. Got to respect the Stags with their effort. But the game was still very winnable for San Beda. If only Bryan Sajonia plays like Letran's Jimboy Estrada which every Bedan expect him to play when he was recruited by the Red Lions from FEU, our record should not be as its worse since 2005. From a premium player, the one who is suppose to replace Jacob is thrash. NOt good enough with an iq of a fish.

That’s true. But even without Lina and Nygel, San Beda is still the team expected to win that game. But you’re right, it’s a no bearing game after all.

Just happy that they ended on a high note after all the challenges they faced this season.

                          • To be fair tho, even with both guys playing, i think beda will still have trouble with baste. Nygel has been inconsistent throughout the season and constant pressure from baste may lead him committing multiple to's. As for lina, with the pace baste is running, he may not have been a difference maker since its not lina's strength to run up and down the court. Prolly the reasons both sat the game, not to mention both are prolly not yet 100%. Imo opinion almost every team had trouble with baste especially when they get hot. Most us prolly didnt expect baste to win 6 games and have even more close games.

For real tho, season 100 has been a blast, especially for teams like baste and perps who i never expected to win 6-7 games. Season 101 should be even more competitive once everybody's transferees play.

The way you disrespected the two kala mo nakapatay na sila. And worst yall do that infront of their friends and family.

And pleaseee, even before they moved to csb, ganyan na sila, i remember in season 98 in the final 4, they did the same stupid antics pero were not pikon like most of your schoolmates. In fact i know some of you even said that, what we just got are just major headaches and yall were happy they were gone. Now your team is 0-2 against us suddenly yall label them as traitors lmao at the hypocrisy.

If san beda is truly a premier instution like most of you bedans say here, then show us. Dont be squammy like the letranites. Be better geez.
San Beda's crowd has always been like that. Used to throw coins on the court too. Embarrassing

Again, Jimboy, the player who disappears during important games.
