NCAA vs UAAP debate, does it include coaches?

The frontline alone...KQ, Philips and QMB (are all Gilas now if they were eligible)...then guard rotation of Padrigao, Cagu, Remogat, Cabanero, Bautista. Then 6'5ish defensive wings who can shoot like Koon, Bongo, Palacielo, Figueroa and then more length and defense with Momowei and Raven. That many weapons coached by Tab will be hard to match up with by the NCAA.

Just by making it a defensive and rebounding game (then let KQ do his thing), the limited number of NCAA bigs will get into foul trouble.

Let us not forget in 2023 that SBU was also seeded number three. They lost to the number one seed Mapua in rounds 1 and 2. This season they’re still the 3-seed and lost twice to the number one seed CSB in the elims. Anything can still happen. In the UAAP 2023 number 1 seed and title favorites UP lost as well like Mapua.

Unfortunately I agree with you in the preparations like in the Preseason. But what can we do, injuries are part of the game. And those injuries spoiled our chemistry which explains the inconsistencies of SBU this S100.

We don't have a player like Cortez on our team this year. At least last year, we all knew our main guy would be Cortez because of his stellar performance in the off-season. We could've tested Lina last game but opted to go with Sajonia. In fact, that game would have been perfect to test if Lina could take us home or not.

Imo lina was the best bedan on the floor against benilde. Was +8 and top scored in 27 mins. If he stays healthy an mvp caliber season in the next year or 2 should come. Besides liwag and capulong, dont think anybody stopping him in the paint with his absurd strength and both those guys could be leaving the league soon. If san beda pairs him with a good pick and roll pg, he'll be even better.

Yeah that is why i am surprised when Sajonia tried to score on his own in the last 5 minutes. Should've kept on feeding lina the ball. Nagulo flow nung pinilit ni Sajonia umiskor. They should just play him as a catch and shoot really like Soberano. Let Nygel/Penny do the PG duty.

shitting on players for moving on to greener pastures has got to be one of the most idiotic and hypocritical a sports fan can do. i mean who would turn down a job that offers a more conducive work environment and/or higher pay? utang na loob? i'd say the players should care more about their families than the teams they play for lol

Bedans moving to greener pastures has never been an issue to begin with (i.e Ritualo, Tenorio, Casio, and many more)...

Its the behaviour and attitude of the these two players (i.e Ynot and Sanchez) that really got the ire of the community..

did you hear anything on cajucom, morales on said two games? or even Mara last year? or even Nayve..

Hubilla gets heckled by the community but he never earned the ire of the community.. nagmamano pa at nakikipagkamay after games yung bata..

Begs to differ what really triggered the community..

Jacob's transfer is even more painful but he is still well liked in the community.. and playing in the alumni league

These bedans treat these players like frickin farm animals. This 2024, players have the choice to go wherever they like whatever the reason is.
