Sure payosing is the better rebounder and can drive to the basket but im sure ronrei aint that far behind in that 2 skills. Ronrei i believe is also bigfer than payosing who can guard 4's and bigger 3's that csb has. Heck i prefer him more over payosing for csb hahaha. Even told a bedan friend that i wished jhomel ancheta brought him along when i found out he walked on at a tryout for beda haha.
Ronrei is 6’3” while Payosing is 6’2”. Ronrei looks like a natural 4 but he compensates it with an aggressive defense and a better 3-ball shooting. Payosing is a natural perimeter player (2 and 3) with a better ball handling skills and better offensive rebounder. These are my observations from their PBA DLeague match ups.

      • if payosing really wants to transfer let him. they have upcoming bucket scorers in Estacio, RC Calimag and especially Sajonia, this guy can score in bunch and 2 way player..

          Agree too much drama already.

          • I also heard in a recent podcast that Richi Calimag was the one who stood out among those who joined the US training last summer.

James will arrive on the 28th. If he's only 50% sure he wants to play with SBU, I think he should leave.

                • Ian Torres and Roger Ondoa has greatly improve since the filbasket dasma championships, taking advantage of Ynot and Sanchez's absence in leading the team thus far. CSB Defeated the filfors and fsa laden ust team in pinoyliga. Forthsky looking like himself excpet for the foul trouble. Ust should win more than 2 games next season. Tho i have a feeling SJ Moore will not last long with UST, don't think he fits well with what the team needs and the style of play of the UAAP. Won't be surprised if he comes back to ncaa especially with the filfors coming in next season.

Good hire being a former HC in the ncaa himself, with us in csb. Olsen will need all the help he can get. Good thing they retained jrs coach joph cleopas as well.

                          EAC or LPU

wow EAC? wild take. considering they lost Magullano, Cosejo and Robin. Pagsanjan and Manlapaz its just like a regular guards. i don't see any special from them. they will miss the toughness of Magullano and cosejo. their 6'8" (forgot the name) is still raw and already a veteran..

EAC for sure. I think LPU has already reached their ceiling as a team, sure most of the core is still there but i think they'll have a trouble looking for a replacement for enoch. Most of the teams they faced is already familiar with how they'll play. Perps should be the darkhorse, i have feeling they have surprise linedup or two, just need to find who'll replace razon's leadership. JRU will be losing sy and dionisio besides the graduating JL and Ry. As for mapua, has paolo hernandez made his decision? Lets hope the runner's up curse won't hit em hard. For me beda and csb have the advantage of lining up new players who aren't exactly rookies(and much more better caliber than those who left) so i'd like to believe they'll be the top 2 teams entering season 100.

Nope not a wild take. Jerson Cabiltes turned hose 3 guys to the players they are today. He did it with much less. Imagine having two ex uaap guys who were already contributors to their old teams, plus doromal(16ppg) and a couple of ex arellano players. Gurtiza and Ochavo will still be there so they'll be fine. Not to mention, eac was one of the best coached teams in the league last season, even better than lpu and mapua i believe. There's a reason they finshed 6th last year(big improvement) even after losing their star bigman allen liwag.
