That and marketability. I dont think gma is doing good job of marketing ncaa. But let not act like uaap also had their fair share of shenanigans.

But I miss the old days when they were with studio 23 or s&a. Nowadays, what really gives life to the league and its team, ironically is the quality of games. Wether no lead is safe or both team really going at it. Anybody can beat anybody unlike in the other league you already know which teams will play in the finals.

Since the pandemic, it was only the Amores incident that put the NCAA in the minds of the commonfolk. So yes I would agree that GMA has been failing so far to market the league.

Nah, only the casuals and uaap purists dont care about those leagues. Players, coaches, alumni, students and basketball diehards actually enjoy watching those games. If nobody cares about those leagues then why are leagues like pinoyliga continue to grow and attract fans and why do your uaap teams keep on joining them. Lets not discount things just to fit your narrative that the uaap is this high and mighty. Fact of the matter is, ncaa teams can and will always compete against uaap teams and its already proven that these ncaa team can win against the best of em.

I believe NCAA should stay in GMA, and push GMA to grow, matured and develop. If NCAA will join OneSports, it will be a 2nd/3rd class citizen behind UAAP, PBA and maybe even behind PVL. Cant imagine an NCAA game will not be televised nor be shown in FB/Youtube like some PVL games because of UAAP/PBA games.

What should GMA do is hire a Sports & Marketing guy to head their GMA Sports like Miko Halili

Are you referring to pinoyliga's next man cup? Thats for team b guys fyi. Nobody used their team b's in the collegiate cup or filoil and every one used their supposed lineup for the incoming season. Even if they used those as a developemental league..Those still cared enough to join and people still cared enough to watch em

For the mythical 5 i'd like to add are and slide barba to one of the forward spot. For the other forward spot id put guiab or andrada. Are for MIP. For roy if they decide separate it, i think sajonia has the inisde track. For frosh, Hubilla or MGC. Defensive team i'd put kevin santos over puno. Are over guiab.

For Mythical 5, with Mapua's record, you need to pencil in Hubilla who has a very solid rookie season in one of the forwards spot and Yukien instead of Jomel Puno. Ynot should have been a shoo in for one of the guard spots but he missed some games due to his injury and was never the same player when he came back to CSB.

I say Andrada over Puno at Mythical five. My most improved player is JP Boral of Perpetual because he was virtually non-existent last season to a starter and one of Perpetual’s top scorers this season.
