Red cubs defeated the squires in pinoyliga. These batch of RCs has started to come on their own. Feels like the pipeline is starting to get replenished.

How has ashon andrews been so far? I think one of the things that held him back ever since his up days was him being 'soft' mentally. Thats prolly the reason why he didnt make ust lineup this year as pido wants his players to be mentally tough. I think maxie had the same issue leading to him leaving ue who also has a tough coach in jack santiago.

Watched the game against Benilde. Baste B’s offense is anchored on Ashon. Actually him and Maxie were given heavy minutes. Reid was not used that much. So I think the coaching staff is giving Ashon and Maxie the confidence that they need. But overall Baste B’s offense is all over the place. It’s evident that they don’t have chemistry yet.

Both are obviously talented, just a matter of them having the right mindset going in an uber tough ncaa. If they are able to make the adjustment, they should have no trouble thriving with the team. Another question is how well will they mesh with returning guys next season. This year Are was able to do what he did due to him having all the touches he wants, next year with more scorers coming in, how will he make the adjustment that would also get those guys touches. He cant be season 99 kurt reyson 2.0 fot baste next season. Imo if Are successfully makes himself as a legitimate playmaker, he could go high in the following pba draft being a total package.

Mapua is slowly securing twice to beat incentive in the final 4. Two more wins and they are locked for top 2.

EAC vs Letran will have big final 4 implications for tom. Must win for either team, but prolly more for letran since they still beda and benilde in their schedule

While for benilde, if they win tom, they'll be the first team to officially lock up a final 4 spot. While perpetual will fall to 6-9.

I think the magic number for that last final 4 spot is 9 wins and i wont be surprised if atleast 2 teams end up tying.

Even with the San Beda win, i doubt that they will be able to catch up CSB and Mapua for the top 2 spots. Even if they sweep their last 4 games, they will end the season with a 13-5 record. However, CSB may end up with a superior 15 - 3 record while Mapua may end up with 14-4.

Red Lions better prepare for their second round game or else they’ll be in deep sh*t. For EAC it’s always gonna be a revenge game for them because of the pinoyliga brawl game in the preseason.

Interesting to see how san beda will adjust to eac. While the generals has been up and down this year, no doubt jerson is doing good job with his gameplans. After the san beda game, eac has jru, au and that vital lpu game. Even if they lose against beda, if they win all their remaining games, they should be in for that last spot.

Imo, one more defeat for either lpu, perps and letran will have them out in the running.
