And yup very slow response time.

Just when we thought ncaa learned its lesson with the amores fiasco, then something like this happens naman. For a league thats been around 100 years, they shouldve provided better security and first responders. There was not even any neck brace availablw for him to use.

Lets be real tho, anyone of us, if we see our loved ones get knocked out, will do the same thing barba did in trying to wake him up. Was it wrong? Yes but dude did that out of instict, he had no time to process what was happening and did what he thought at the time was needed to be done. So lets give the kid a break. He prolly thought he lost his brother that time.
What needs to happen is first aid training to everyone in the league, from the coaches to the players, to the officials and of course better first responders in case something like this happens again. I mean imagine someone really did collapsed or had a cardiac arrest.
Kinda tragic for this to happen, especially someone from lpu, who happens to be the host this year and to someone recovering from a spine injury. I mean were not gonna even talk about the loss, but i feel for coach gilbert as well. You can see him besides himself crying head down. Wont be surprised if he blames himself for what happened.

The moment I saw Bravo motionless on the floor, the first thing that popped in my head was it might have been related to his spinal injury. I quickly recalled that terrifying accident of Eugene Tejada of Purefoods in the PBA. Tejada was paralyzed for a number years after that incident. But when I saw the replay of Bravo bumping heads with another player I was relieved.
Barba made more people panic with his hysterical act. Lol

Hope LPU doesnt force things so we dont see another Tua like scenario.
Anyways from a new tiebreaker time article:
According to Lyceum Pirates team manager Alan Layco, initial medical tests have shown promising results.
“The initial CT scan showed no damage, and the neuro tests have also turned out negative,” Layco confirmed.
Tho he is scheduled to have another ct scan tom before he gets cleared out
