They certainly can but of all the guys benilde has. Its liwag who's really irreplaceable. He's the anchor of that defense and the main focal point of attack in the post. Without him everyone has to play better defense especially the perimeter defenders, offensively the shooters need to be more selectivebof their shots. Overall benilde will be a whole different team without him.

Remember in 2019, San Beda swept the elimination round and was dominating every opponent only to lose to a surging Letran Knights in the finals.
In the 1st round against baste and arellano it showed. In the 2nd rd, baste again showed another way imo to beat benilde, besides the fullcourt pressure, baste did a good job with their zone defense. It neutralized benilde points in the paint, took liwag out of the picture, and for a team that leads that category, it completely changed the way they played the game. Benilde was forced to rely in their perimeter shooting and coming to the game benilde was dead last naman in that category. Fortunately for benilde, they able to knock down their outside shots early on and it was enough to maintain the control of the game especially when baste abandoned their zone defense in the 2nd half. It was a big adjustment on the part of the coaching staff and players who usually prefer scoring the paint.

That janti kid is the real deal. If puno stays for another year, san beda will 2 matchup nightmare players at the same time. From my observation, only benilde and letran will have the personel to guard those guys. Rest of the teams could struggle to contain the 2. Add jimmy reyes to the equation and suddenly san beda has a 3 headed scoring attack. Only question now is if the team b boys will be able to mesh well with returning team a guys next year.

Excited about this guy. Can't believe I missed Julius Armon I didn't know about him, seemed like a good prospect. I thought the foreign player San Beda has that joined a US school was Kevin Emeka.
The hype continued the following year 2012 in FilOil and in his final game as a Red Lion before leaving for the US training versus Ateneo hit the go-ahead basket which turned out to be the game winner.

Janti and Armon play almost the same but Janti, I think is more controlled between the two. With his size and skills, he will really be a match up problem.
I am not seeing any problems with how Jimmy and Janti will fit with Team A, when that time comes. Crucial will be how soon they will be integrated once season 100 finishes.
